Its a chunk error, as everyone has said. Although, I don't really consider it an error because it happens a lot. If its an error, then there is a lot other ones. Such as floating sand, when you hit, they all collapse.
All I know is that they look scary as hell. I'd rather see them in the daylight than at night behind a tree watching you, or in a very dark cave with their bright eyes watching you.
The biggest mistake, eh? Well I don't know about mistake, but I know about my fail.
When I was just a noob in MC, I tried building my small house (I didn't know anything about the game, didn't look at any tutorial videos before hand)out of gravel....at night...and the roof was...well...made of gravel.
The giant spider I was running from didn't kill me, I think you can figure out what did.
Have you checked out our wikipedia for all rules/commands?: No, but I have looked at the website for server rules. ^-^
Have you voted for us on http://www.minestatus.net/5362/vote ?: I would love to, but I would like to see the server, to see if it interests me. :biggrin.gif:
How did you hear about this server?: Actually, I was looking for a server with simplicity and installed mods that I've already been exposed to such as Towny, and iConomy. So in other words...Google told me about the server. XD
For some reason, when I first generated a world on Minecraft, there was this strange uniqueness to it. From the time I got scared at night (since I never saw any tutorials beforehand) and made a shelter out of gravel (didn't know it could fall then), and didn't know spiders could climb walls (didn't make a roof, it was a box basically out of dirt and gravel), to making my first light (torch).
I remember it crystal clear. How I would love to visit that time again, but how I would love not to. Reasons being is because if something were to "alter" my course in gameplay, I would have never found the multiplayer server that I play on now and never had made the friends I did on MC.
The other reason being the fact that, that one feeling you have when you survived a full day in MC is great, but its good only once. You know the rules of MC now, and you realize how little you truly knew and never expected to be as great at playing MC as you may be now.
Very nice, I like that idea. At first I thought it would be a whole deal of making "clothes" in Minecraft like jackets, crowns, sunglasses, etc. But I like the idea of storing your skins In-game, makes for easy access of which on you want.
This would be especially cool in RPG servers on multiplayer.
You're making this so much harder than it has to be.
Collect the sugarcane from wherever you find it - you don't need to farm it at that spot. Bring it home, set up a farm there.
Cane will grow in a dirt square if it has a side facing water (not diagonally). It does not spread, it merely grows taller.
So plant one reed in each square and wait a while. When it's fully grown, knock off the top two sections and plant them nearby if you want more.
And you might want to take a look at the wiki - this is the sort of thing it's meant for.
Exactly, sugarcane won't just "show up" if there is dirt near a lake. Sugarcane shows up when you load a new chunk (if it doesn't, keep searching). Then break the sugarcane (you can even break the bottom one and replant), and you have some for paper.

The biggest I've ever seen was only two, one was a zombie and a spider. Never seen 4 in my life.

That's how I think of it. :smile.gif:

"Crazy thing, just don't seem the same"
"Actin' funny, but I don't know why"

So in essence, if F3 was removed I would be very sad. :sad.gif:
