I had a idea for a item when I heard of wild cows and such
Lassos/rope. It can capture certain animals, or to rope unruly animals. if you have fence posts you can attached the rope to it like vanilla MC,however many ropes can be attached to a animal at a time depending on how much you wanna restrict their movement.
For example
1 rope gives the animal more bodily movement While 3-4 can fully restrain them stop them from moving at all (works well for angry Bulls)
Also I know that their hard to code, but when you make the horses, can you have it that automatically riding them doesn't make them tame like normal MC and that taming takes time and could a animation be something like this
Bucking: Used by horses and cattle and general animals if player is on their back
Special: Cattle will only buck a player if a Saddle is Placed on their back. if saddle is not placed the animal won't buck instead will charge
Special: Horses will only Buck if left untamed and they have a saddle/player placed on their back once tamed a horse will not buck a human but will buck a predator (if they plan on being added that is)
sorry I was thinking of rodeos when I thought about the roping (roping steers) and bucking (bucking broncos)
will there be indicators that a dragon is at low health, any visual clues or anything, the reason I'm asking is cause the attention to detail for this mod is amazing and damage indicators is dead and id actually would like to know if the dragon kicking my ass plans on dying anytime soon XD
I thought it was, too. The developer for JAFF stated not long ago that he was waiting for something else to be updated first for some reason, then he would be able to release a 1.10.2. Be still my heart! It would make up for the shattered dream that twas Helpful Villagers.
Giacomo's fishing net is 1.8.0 - 1.11.2. And being consistently worked on from the looks of things. Here's a link. giacomos-fishing-net. It really works like a cobweb that you can throw, so imagine throwing them at a standing/ flying dragon to tangle it up while dodging attacks. There's a okay mod spotlight on that page.

That's good news. I'm also wondering about mods like forestry. I'm not using it personally at the moment, but a lot of players do and putting together a list of compatible mods could bring in more players by giving them ideas for mixing it with their favorite mods. When Just A Few Fish finally comes out with the 10.2 I'll be using it with this, but I honestly couldn't tell you which will come out first. But at least that one is confirmed as going to happen.
For all the times trapping was brought up I suggest toying with the Giacomos Fishing Net mod. It might help. At the very least you can passively catch fish and turn wool into string with it, but it lets you throw the net and you can use it to slow down mobs as though they were caught in a spider web. I never really tested it on big hitboxes, like ghasts (or dragons), but you can throw it without cool down and if you're keeping sheep then you can make a ton of them and just endlessly toss them like they were chicken eggs. Even if it turns out you can't throw it at a flying dragon you can still throw down a whole bunch on the ground for it to land on and get stuck in, then keep throwing and hopefully get it more and more stuck.
Posting before this gets bigger. But I really do plan on working a list when this comes.

Probably space to jump and take flight and the WSAD Key(or arrow) to move like how it's is for Dragon Mounts

I like that idea, very very very much XD
it could be like a ritualistic sacrifice which I plan on doing in my world if it turns out Wild Dragon roam the land in which I set up shop
and with my luck ill build my house in a neat little area and 3 minutes later a dragon bursts out from under it xD
