    Trying out the beta (5.1.0b4 specifically), and the performance seems to be less of a hit (as in not a 50% fps drop) than before. Not bad. A few questions though:


    - How exactly is the automapping supposed to work? I turned the frequency down to the minimum, told it to draw all regions, and it ended with this (which is a far cry from the actual world data).

    E: poking around it seems the image files were created, they're just blank. Couldn't find a bug tracker, so I guess this thread will have to do.

    E2: looks like instead of writing the data for day surface mapping, it wrote data for cave mapping instead..?

    E3: works properly in 5.0.1


    - Is there a way to have the day/night toggle be more intelligent, or even automatic? When switching from cave view to outside view, it appears to pick between day/night at random.


    - "Antialiasing" is enabled for cave view, yet for every vertical chunk it still completely redraws the map, even displaying the mode switch icon. Is this just beta being beta or am I doing something wrong?


    - Opis has an option in the configs for changing the minimap offset from the edges of the screen to avoid gaps and misalignments. Can this be configured in JM?


    - Looking at the screenshots, is there a way to configure the contrast for height/lighting changes to be less extreme?


    - Can mob icons be disabled as a whole, leaving just the rotating pointers?

    Is it just me, or is it impossible to rename tools created with certain materials in a Tool Forge/Station?


    The charm of owning the great and powerful "material.damascussteel Mattock" wears off pretty fast.

    The 2d models were removed in 1.4.0. :/ Not sure if the faces in MC models have normals or not, so might be possible to fake it by just leaving most of it transparent? Iunno.

    Probably wouldn't fix any glitches though.

    Not sure if it was irritating anybody else how most all of the 1.7 flowers were showing red instead of their actual color, but here's a fix for it.


    Replace the text up to the grass part in MapWriterBlockColourOverrides.txt with this:

    How would one go about filtering Mekanism's portable tanks, while still keeping the empty one? The item name is Mekanism:MachineBlock2 (shared with multiple other, entirely different machines) and there's no metadata is always 11, no difference between empty and full.


    It looks like NBT detection isn't implemented (yet?), so does that mean it just can't be done?

    So Tinker's Construct tools work well enough in ArmorStatusHUD.. how about the bows?


    Does TiCo have a way to find out what the current bow is bound to and in turn how many arrows/bolts are available?

    Is it possible to add iconsets currently (0.4.5)? I'm finding zero documentation on this.

    After looking through the source and experimenting around a bit, it seems the icons folder is ignored.
    New themes aren't listed even if index.theme and <name>.rqc files exist.

    Searching around, it seems the JABBA retexture hasn't been mentioned in this thread..

    *By entire world i mean a large portion not all 2.5 billion blocks of it.

    I'm not sure how it works in multiplayer, but in singleplayer you just open to the full-screen map, zoom/pan to whatever you want to see/update and press R.

    Of course it doesn't generate chunks, only reads and displays them.

    Also having problems with waypoints and map data being lost after every restart, while the workaround serves as a temporary solution. Hope to see a fix.

    E: for what it's worth, I personally haven't tested with standalone MapWriter, so not sure if upstream bug or not.

    Good stuff, this :) Nice to see some sense being made out of the complete mess of textures modpacks have.

    What happened to the downloads for buildcraft 1.6? All I'm seeing in this thread is a link to an imgur album without any comments or links, and it's not on curseforge.
