    What is your experience with the game?: Have been playing Minecraft since 2012 (version 1.3.1?) which greatly scratches my inner Lego urges. Started playing modded Minecraft in 2014, with a focus on technology mods.

    What is your favorite part of Modded servers?: Greater variety. I enjoy building small/tiny structures that are also functional, of which mods help with.

    Why do you want to join Ethereal Craft?: The previous small community server I was playing on shut down, so I am looking for a new and active one. Am hoping Ethereal Craft might be a new long-term home.

    Given how huge and imaginative the modding community can be for Minecraft, coming up with an addition/idea that is both completely new and of interest to most players can't be easy. Just saying.

    Going along with what Playwhite mentioned. As a quick fix I would return 1 iron/gold nugget for each iron/gold ingot that was needed to craft the item. So, an iron chestplate (8 iron ingots to craft) would return 8 iron nuggets, regardless of current durability.


    Not a perfect solution, but one that I think would be fairly easy to implement.

    In further thinking of this, a possible wrinkle that could be used is this: an armor stand will attempt to use whatever is placed in it's "hand" when it receives a redstone signal.


    So, an armor stand with a bit of wheat will "use" it (attract animals) when it gets a redstone signal.


    But also, an armor stand with an axe (or pick, shovel, sword) will try to use it (on whatever block directly in front of it?) when it gets a redstone signal.


    I could see some interesting adventure / map-making mechanics with such functionality, but it may also be a huge pain to code.

    I would recommend taking a look at the Hopper Ducts mod. It's small, simple, has a vanilla-ish feel, and is supported up to version 1.10.2 of Minecraft as of right now.

    I seem to recall at some some point, somewhere, someone at Mojang had stated that their conception of a plug-in API (not a mod API) would have nowhere near the functionality that something like Forge offers, and given that Forge already exists, why would they duplicate the work? As far as the plug-in API is concerned, I think we're already starting to see the beginnings of it with the custom add-ons for Win10 / MCPE.

    Was wondering if it was feasible / reasonable to allow armor stands, when holding an appropriate food item, to gather nearby animals to them (just like a player can) ?


    Imagine being able to keep your cows together with an armor stand and a sprig of wheat instead of a large fence. Or your chickens, pigs, sheep, etc.


    I imagine it would lend itself to some interesting redstone mechanics when coupled with moving armor stands around, etc.

    This is something that has been around for a long time now. Any time you change resource packs that touch this mod you need to reload the game for this mod's objects to render correctly.

    Hello all,


    Banging my head on another issue with my Bevo's Tech Pack setup and reverse toggle bus. I grabbed a screenshot this time.


    ME Setup


    I have discovered that if I add a ME Smart Cable to the reserved toggle bus on top of the dense cable, giving it a redstone signal (via EnderIO redstone conduit) kills my entire ME network, not just the assembly chambers and interfaces dependent upon that cable line. Might anyone know of a reason why?

    The AE autocrafting system will only use the first recipe it finds for a particular item. I would recommend that you remove the second recipe.

    Thank you MauveCloud, had forgotten about P2P Tunneling... mostly because I have no experience with it. Trying to model something in a single-player creative world now, but as usual I must be doing something wrong. Off to YouTube tutorials!
