tnx for putting the redstone blocks in the texturepack, i hope u like them, but also, as you know 1.6.1 is out, and your texturepack needs to be updated, can i maybe do that for u? cause i know how the texturing system works now and have updated my texturepack in a few minutes.
Thanks very much for the offer! Although, unless this update for Minecraft is like the 1.5 update, and totally changes how texturepacks work, then even without anything done to it, my texturepack should still work fine on 1.6
About you helping; I am always open to people contributing to this project! If it weren't for others helping out, this texurepack would be pretty small, and rather awful. So, yeah! If you have anything to offer, by all means do so!
So i just fixed connected textures for the emerald blocks. I wonder if you could use them in your Texture Pack. It took me really long time to make the ctm. This is the first ctm i ever made.
I just downloaded, extracted and looked through it. This is all I'm seeing. Note the folder name, V1.6 - same as in the original post. http://imgur.com/0GLFpHF
Speaking of OP, both it and changelog.txt only mention coal ore.
Alright, so I have a few questions. I'm new to the forums and sort of new to minecraft. (I have had the game for months but I hardly play because single player gets boring after a bit.) Does the connected textures mod work with any texture pack or is it a texture pack itself? Also is this updated to 1.5.2? If so how do I download it? The one on page 1 says 1.6 so I'm not sure if it will work.
On another note I'd like to know if there is some way to play online without it being a LAN game or using Hamachi. Maybe there is something better and simpler than Hamachi I can use? Every time I use it my friends can't connect to my game.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
This can be used as a stand-alone texturepack just by dragging it into the texturepacks folder like any other texturepack, but this one will not work without either optifine or MC patcher. If your a noob, probably best you use MC patcher.
This pack is for Minecraft 1.5.2, but the texturepack is version 1.6. It's confusing, I know.
You can use any texturepack whilst on a server, but unless the other players on the server is using the same texturepack, you will be the only one that sees the new textures.
Looks cool, but I can't do much with this picture. If you want the redstone ctm added to the texturepack, could you send a .zip containing the ctm pictures to me plz?
nice done and thanks, im using it in my texturepack now, the texturepack isnt available now but when it is, i will give u credit, and also i made an own ctm for redstone blocks, maybe i can give u the textures and u put them in ur texturepack
I'd love to see these redstone block ctm textures!
Actually, the problem was I tried to install it like a mod using the Magic Launcher :V
i hadn't realized it was a texture pack somehow
That explains it then! Do realise that this topic is in the Texture Pack section of Minecraft Forums, and the installation instructions do tell you to put the .zip into the texturepack folder in the .minecraft directory!
Did you fix the Lamp ctm? If not, I can try to make one, but I don't have time very often
Also, can I base my official Server Texturepack on this if I write it on the download page and in a text file in the Texturepack?
Go right ahead! You can use any of the textures or coding in your own work as long as you leave a link back to the original or at least give credit to me.
Could you look at the Lamp CTM again? If you place Lamps in a U-Shape it looks weird.
Also is there ANY way to connect both off and on lamps? I though there was some function that would take the texture from the same spot (or number.png) but in the other CTM file (folder) when changing the block. Is that possible?
I don't think you can connect two different blocks without some kind of mod (and I don't think optifine covers this ground). Although, if you find a way to do this, do inform me!

By soon, I mean now. Sorry this update isn't too huge, but it includes some pretty cool features I think!

Wow! Verrrry attractive emeralds! Just what I've been looking for. These will be in the 1.7 update which should be out soon

I did not know this is only what you're getting! So sorry, will upload the new textures now!

Already have, dammit!
Look through the texturepacks files. The only ore I haven't done is emerald.
Say what?
Or this is the website I use: http://photobucket.com/

The link doesn't work for me. Is there another way you can send me a screenshot?

Correct. It sounds like you're not using one of the mods required to properly run this texturepack.
Go right ahead! You can use any of the textures or coding in your own work as long as you leave a link back to the original or at least give credit to me.

A good idea, but quite difficult. I'll give it a shot!
