posted a message on NEI Loading Issues

I don't know if this should go here; but I think that this might have to do specifically with the Twitch launcher. Whenever I load a pack from 1.4(the reason being that earlier packs consisted of less mods which cause less lag), NEI is installed, but the file for it says that there are "no installed plugins". neiplugins and neipluginsredpower are mods that are supposedly plugins of NEI, but both say that the authors are unknown. I assume that that might be the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. The files seem fine to me, but then again, I haven't gone into more detail than skimming through the mod folder. Thanks for your feedback!

Yeah, I like a good challenge. Crash Landing is a good example of a challenge that is fun and rewarding at the same time. Blood and Bones, for example, became difficult to the point of agony in my opinion after several updates. Everything was overpowered to an extreme; some mobs even being able to mine blocks! I died many times because they broke into what little a base I could make.

It's working! I tested FTB Lite first to make sure the client would download packs, and then I downloaded Crash Landings. Sure enough, both work!

Man, that's awful. I was worried I'd have to do the same thing with Crash Landing, which is my dad's favorite mod pack, and for whatever mods I wanted to use. That would require hours of time that I didn't have because of school.

But seriously, it seems to me that whenever something works okay, and people want better, the new thing ends up being harder to use or just plain inconvenient. I guess it's just human nature to want something better than the best, so to speak, if you know what I mean. And as for Linux, there goes all my desire to use it over Windows. xD

I like Tekkit okay, but most packs on Tekkit are the same to me for some reason or they don't work too well. I need to update Java for ATLauncher, but I like my setup now better anyway.

I know, right? But everything's working for me now! I followed those steps, and it turns out Curse was still installed on my computer. Thank you so much!

Sorry I took so long to respond to this video! I've been busy with the last few weeks of school and haven't had the time! I like where you're going with the trials and the storyline though, and I'm excited about what else you may have in store!

Ah yes, this is a long and complicated problem that will take quite a bit of explaining, but I think I can do it in a fairly brief manner. Several months ago, I decided to get the Curse launcher after learning that I could create my own mod pack by picking and choosing what mods I wanted to use for modded Minecraft. I made an account, and the launcher was downloaded. I enjoyed using it, but there were two main problems. First, Curse was beginning to work with Twitch to gradually integrate with them, and I could choose to convert my account to a Twitch account, which I didn't really want to do. The other problem was that there was an odd glitch where once I launched a pack once, if I tried to make a new one or change packs, the second wouldn't load. The latter issue forced me to be careful with how I decided what packs to play with, but it wasn't too much of an issue besides that. Because my computer was having issues, I decided to delete the Curse launcher(along with FTB) and then reinstall it after those issues were dealt with. This proved to be a big mistake on my part. When I felt my computer was ready, I decided to go to the Curse website to reinstall. Unfortunately, I was forced to convert to Twitch at that point. That worked, but when I tried to download the new Twitch Client, it told me the following, "Curse has powered up and become the Twitch App! Please uninstall Curse and then try running Twitch setup again." I was aggravated because I had not only deleted but recycled those files from the Recycle Bin, and now I was being told that I still had to uninstall something that was completely gone. To make things worse, the FTB launcher has now integrated with Curse which has integrated with Twitch. So I can't get those packs either. What am I getting wrong? Thank you for your feedback!

I forgot that coal spawned in dungeon chests until now! And about that golden apple, did you spawn those chunks when golden apples were rarer or was that common loot at that point?

Mods can be fun in my opinion when I play with packs with a smaller amount of them or when I compile my own custom "pack", but huge FTB and other packs either add more mods than I'd ever be able to play with in one Minecraft world(FTB Monster, etc.) or they overcomplicate survival to the point where I really don't want to play them(Blood and Bones, especially). But I will always go back to Vanilla, and I usually keep my vanilla worlds longer than modded ones for those very reasons.

And to be honest, I haven't been playing the most recent versions for that long either, and I'm unfamiliar with a lot of them too. It's better to take things one step at a time, no matter how much people want to see new things. It's more fun that way, and you appreciate them more when you wait for them.

posted a message on 1.10+ Chunk Loading Problems

It all started when I downloaded either 1.9 or 1.10, but in recent versions, I've found that chunks won't generate past a certain point until I press F3-A to reload the next chunks. Is this just my computer, or has this been a recurring problem in the most recent iterations of MC?

I've finally caught up with the rest of this series, as I've just finished Episode 20! It seems to me that what makes this series unique from the others I've watched is that this is the only vanilla role play I've found on YouTube. There are a few modded ones out there, but this series might be the first purely vanilla RP I've found on YouTube. I love the use of Spectator Mode to create those camera shifts and effects, as I've never seen anything like it in an LP before. In the past few episodes, I've noticed that the sense of "unawareness" that Otaku has of the world of Minecraftia brings back the nostalgic feeling s of when I watched paulsoaresjr's tutorial series back in 2012. This story keeps getting better and better! Keep it up!

I'm only on Episode 8 right now, because I've been so busy with schooling, but I continue to love it. Your series is really relaxing for me to watch after a long day of studying and extracirricular activities. Thank you for the amazing content! Keep up the good work! 😀

Also, I have one quick question. Did you choose the seed before starting WanderingOtaku's Missing In Minecraft or were you just extremely lucky? I've only found two legit mushroom biomes in my Minecraft career, and that's saying something, considering how long I've played. That doesn't include Creative worlds, though. And a village, desert temple, and underwater temple all within half a kilometer of spawn! That's really something!

I've finished Episode 4 of this series and I like it a lot. I really like the theme music at the end too. It might just be my headphones, but you're voice is kind of quiet compared to the game in my opinion. Other than that, absolutely enjoy this role play. Keep it up, man! 😀
