    Ok, so when I do this, when it is below 1,000,000 both figures are 0, while above 1,000,00 they become 1. When above 2,000,000 they become 2.

    Currentley chanceModifier is set to 0. It is used for when someone coughs, and everyone in a 5 block radius will get increased chances of getting sick. So right now it does nothing.

    Well, I tried using doubles, but it yielded the same result, so 0.0 when below 100K and when above 100K it was 1.0. So, should I use a different formulae based upon if it is below 100K or not?

    Hi guys,



    So I am creating a mod with diseases. I know this has already been done, but mine works quite differentley. Every tick the player gains 10 bacteria, for a maximum of 2.5 million bacteria. The player also has a chance to get a disease based on the amount of bacteria he has. This is the part that doesnt work. I have a little formulae setup to calculate the percentage, but right now the chance is always zero below 100 thousand and 100% above 100 thousand. This is really frustrating as it is a core part of my mod. I know this is not minecraft related at all, but I didnt know where else I could ask for help, so excuse me for my code probably being messy, I am a noob :D

    Nop, its possible. I think what you need to do is create an EventHandler, and make it call something like onRender... Cancel that render tick for the entity player or whatever and your done! Atleast that is how I think it goes...

    Well, how about you dont integrate minecraft into steam but rather make a mod that is based off of steam. It does the same thing but it doesnt rely on steam, of course you will need your own server so be prepared for that but the rest is relatively simple. For example, you code in a friends tab, where you can add friends and join their game. This will require your own server, for friend management and will require the server to be modded. The server will need to pass on its IP adress but nothing more. Then the client does the rest. It isnt that hard if you do it this way...

    Make the mod download the skin everytime it starts or open the GUI. That way the skin cant get outdated. Hope it helps!
