posted a message on Draining water temporarily Kelp gets in the way

You probably guessed it already by the title, but I'm trying to temporarily drain the water out of an ocean so I can change things easily without kelp stopping the drain water function from working properly, while also not wanting to have to go and place back all of the kelp manually.

It's tedious. I remember there was a way to ensure the water didn't automatically flow back before but as of now I can't find anything on it, and the kelp will still cause problems within a zone.

Is it possible to work around somehow?

Oh yeah. I'm installing it to be able to use specific plugins on a server so I don't rly need to install it in the chosen location then.

    Thanks for your help! :)

EDIT: Ok well it still doesn work. lol

I'm sorta trying to run world edit on a server but no matter how I do this it seems I can't use the world edit commands.

I was asking which directory I should install fabric in though?

Do I actually need to install it in both? Or can I not use it unless I install it on main drive?

If I have minecraft installed on a separate harddrive from main drive, since I still have the .minecraft folder in AppData, I'm unsure of which one I should install Fabric in.

The chosen game location or the AppData .minecraft folder?
