So you want more free stuff? The updates we're getting are essentially free mods. Appreciate what you're already getting.
I dunno, what happens in every other game ever made when you have content another player doesn't have? They can't join. I doubt they're going to lose money just to avoid such a small issue.
Not really. The updates are parts of the original game that we are garunteed to get at some point in the future. Mods are deviations from the original game not intended to be included by Mojang. So.... Not the same thing. And You mistook what I said. I want free mods because this is my "perfect world" idea. If they can be free, I would like them to be free, which made sense, I think.
First things first, this is how I would like to see mods in minecraft. I know there are things Microsoft won't like and 4J Studios can't do, but this is my idea of a perfect way to implement mods into mincecraft.
Maybe a vote can be held by 4JSteve on the forums and we can vote for the next mod out of a list of the ones 4J has chosen. The vote would probably be kept up until the next mod comes out, then whichever has the most votes would immediately get started on and the vote would be posted again, brand new.
Mods are free and come in updates. Let me clarify because people are having touble. I would pay for mods, I would throw money at Microsoft and 4J and whoever for mods, but I would love it if they were free and came in updates.
Mods are compatible and won't screw eachother up.
Mods are added to a world when the world is created, via a checkbox that says "Mods" then when it's checked you can open a window with a list of mods you can put in, then you just check the box on all mods you want in that world.
They can't be taken out so no mod items and objects are left behind or destroied when the mod is taken out, and mods can't be added later because if the mod adds ores or structures then they would only appear in undiscovered parts of the world.
I know microsoft likes money (don't we all) and might want the mods to be DLC that we have to buy.

I know that this will divide 4J's time between regular minecraft updates to keep up with Mojang and mods, but they would get more love from us and I think it would be worth it.
this is just a small thing but it bugs me. When I make a cake or put a bucket of lava in an oven... i would like the bucket back. Who cooks iron buckets into a cake? That's just weird.
you should put the tweets from 4J Steve and Ryan that say "The update is not coming out today" so other people don't have to go looking for it all over twitter just to find that.
I want to buy minecraft for PC because I have MCXBox but my laptop LAGS SO BAD and it sucks... is there anyway I can help this? I already have my settings really low.

Examples of Work: I made a mob grinder that I haven't heard of so I think it's original, but it was inspired by one youtube video I saw with four doors around a pressure plate, with a water block on top of that, and a block on top of that. This allows mob to walk into it, get closed in, drown, and you can safely pick up the items later on. It can also be rebuilt with harder materials to trap mentally deficient players. Being the American that I am, I said "Let's make it bigger" So I constructed a massive room I called The Compound, built a glass house in the middle, put doors all the way around, then pressure plates, then another layer of doors, flooded it, and now mobs commit suicide while trying to get me while I was in my house. I made later modifications to a lot of the Compound to stop spiders from blocking it up, to attract the mobs that were farther away from me with a switch, and to stop mobs from spawning by flipping a switch that brings out glowstone across the compound, but this is already a long read.
Any Questions?: If I'm not enjoying your server (although it does look pretty epic) would you hold it against me to back out?

What are you looking for in Multiplayer: I love PvPs and I would like a reliable source of them. No one ever does them often enough. I want to try different kinds and all that. I like to think I've become pretty skilled at them but woud like to play them more.
Ideas? Well, It's not my idea, it was my friends and he'll be mad at me if he found out I spread it on the forums but he calls it "Tower of Pimps". There is a cobblestone block at the spawn point for each player, and on it there is a sign with the name of the player that the block belongs to. We have to discard all our maps then we scatter. First one to make a tower of 4 gold blocks on their cobblestone block wins.
Rules: No tampering with the spawn point
Camping is allowed
Killing and stealing is allowed.
Making a new map is not allowed.
Duplicating is not allowed.
It HAS to be gold. Diamond doesn't count for anything except you could probably make awesome equipment to help you along.
Spawn killing is not allowed (camping IS still fine but you're only camping for people coming to place their blocks down, Not newly revived players)
No sleeping but making a bed and laying in it once so you spawn there is fine.
Not played on peaceful.
I think thats it. It's pretty fun and it crazy with a lot of people. There's a lot of rage and rage quitting, too. (Some situations call for some changes. Last time I played, all the mobs glitched to where I couldn't see them and they continuously killed over and over and over again, so we saved, exited, and came back)
