    Just for comparison...
    • 2009 Dell Mini 9 with an Intel GMA950 runs at 1024x600 at 5-10fps on fast/tiny
    • 2007 Dell XPS M1350 with NVIDIA 8600mGT runs at 1920x1200 or 1152x720 around 20-40fps on fast/medium
    • 2009-2011ish custom built desktop with NVIDIA GTX 465 runs 1920x1200 at 90-130fps on fancy/far
and my desktop was significantly cheaper than my laptop

Could you post links if you find one? Id like to take a look at em,

mini itx build? I doubt you don't have enough space for a computer, unless you live in a box.

I'm mainly a console player (I know, boooo). So my TV takes a lot of priority. Also wouldnt call it a box but when you live wit a woman the space I can use becomes... Limited.

Hmm.. I'm not too sure about a solution for you in Puerto Rico.

I do know of this laptop, which is great for the price.

Ok I'll give it a closer look and see what I find.

    Hi guys! First post here!

So my current laptop is about to kick the bucket so I'm looking for a new one. I know that desktops are better than laptops when it comes to gaming but I simply have no space to fit a desktop in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. things to keep in mind is that I am not by any means computer savvy nor do I live in the continental US. I live in PR (Puerto Rico) and shipping can be a little bit of a hastle.

The only computer that Ive seen that is kindof what I'm looking for is this one:

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Midnight-Black-15.6-Envy-Sleekbook-6-1129wm-Laptop-PC-with-AMD-Quad-Core-A8-4555M-Accelerated-Processor-and-Windows-8-Operating-System/21634592

I see it has an AMD Quad A8 and Ive seen that an A6 is a minimum for Minecraft but will this also run Sims 3 well? Those are my two main games so I guess that is also something to keep in mind.

    Thanks in advance!

    1. How long have you played Minecraft? PC version: Couple days ago. PE version: about 7-8 months
    2. Location: Puerto Rico

    3. Age 22
    4. Amount of time you spend playing weekly?
I'll be spending a good ammount hopefuly. Got college to worry about too.
    5. Do you have a mic/use TeamSpeak? Do not own a mic but thinking bout getting one. No problem with using in game chat for now right?
    6. Have you ever been banned or kicked from a server? Never been on one before, lol.
    7. Pictures(if any) of your greatest builds and/or any other info about yourself you feel like sharing! I havent had any time to build anything spectacular. Planning on doing something modern-ish though. Im an average builder at best but I have some builds in mind that Id like to complete.
    8. How did you find/hear about LowCraft? Looking for a server that is VERY noob friendly and this server popped up.
    9. Finally your IGN(In Game Name) Fraymorg.

P.S. I know it's very little time. Tbh im not even really accustomed to the controls (Im mostly a console player) but I believe that a little help goes a long way and in the games I have played that are somewhat like MC I love to help. Just looking to be helped a little first ;) .
