REDSTONE IS THE BEST THING INVENTED. I love mechanical stuff! With my skills equipped, I went on to town servers that involves raiding. It was hell load of fun when you form your own team, and with teamwork, you successfully destroy people's places with creative strategies! Well, things was going down again after that.. Destroying stuff really is boring afterall. Now, I prefer oldschool vanilla, a small server where I can work with people and create large structures. Oh yes, I REALLY LOVE HOW YOU PLAN HOW YOUR SERVER! I can totally imagine how much effort you put in it, as I was once a server host as well. I hope this server would really go far.One advice, protection plugins is really important! With more security plugins, it does not necessary change 'vanilla'. Fingox, accepted! Funny you should mention that, just dealt with a situation EXACTLY like the snowball one, but with a twist of a bug deleting items or something strange with them. Anyway, rules do need to be resolved. I don't think we'll get a chest plugin still, because chest stealing issues are easy to fix with CoreProtect!
No offence, you guys need to step up your game on the plugins. And by plugins, I mean security related ones. Doesnt affect the vanilla gameplay. I was hosting a server like yours, I had lots of plugins dealing with security like X-ray, trollers, abusers etc. From my past experience, you guys would experience more problems sooner or later.. I was too busy so i decided to close down my server and join another. Hope this server would last as my players hated me for closing down my Server! ..

Also, its important to have a rule that one does not troll and overdo it. For eg, accidently mining to people's place, using snowballs to irrtate people. As a past Server hoster, I experience all kinds of problems my players give me.
Purposes: it was a long time i was searching for a friendly ftb server, i got bored playing it in single player.. What i want to do is play with other people on a server, to help each other and plan for big-supertech construction
Amount of time i can spend daily: more or less 3 hours (little less if exams are near)
Skype and mic: i have both, but i can't always use my microphone because of my little sister (id: jegherx)
