Feile Caruth was a young farm boy. His father always told him that he was only born to help on the farm. Though it seemed as if his father never really cared for him, he taught him a multitude of skills. After so many years of working on the farm Feile decided he wanted a better life for himself. He ran off to live his own life in the city.
In the city, Feile worked at several different shops. Not all at the same time of course, but he used and refined the many skills his father taught him. One thing he didn't like about the big city was the community, so he decided to go back to his farm after some years. When he returned he found his parents farm shut down and both of them working at another nearby farm. Neither of them had aged well and were working just to get by in life, and Feile promised them that he would help them get out of this mess. He set off to find work in order to help them pay off their debts.

No griefing: Don't destroy anything that isn't mine.

Stay In-Character: Uhmm...don't go out of character...it's a rp server.
No PowerGaming: Don't force people to do things with your RP.
III. Character Information
Character Name: Laertes Caruth
Character Age: 27
Character Race: Norn
Character Appearance: Laertes keeps his hair short. He cuts it with a dagger whenever it gets too long, so it looks uneven and ratty. He has grey skin because of the his oxygenation deficiency caused by the smoking that his village used to do. He also has his body covered in green tribal tattoos from his travels. Laertes is a bit taller and lanky person, with little muscle showing, but strength being hidden well.
Character Personality: Laertes is generally a humble man. He feels as though he hasn't much to brag about -though he is quite knowledgeable- and is usually fairly quiet. He is open to meeting new people and is friendly to most everyone. Unless you get on his bad side, you have nothing to fear; Laertes can be quite ruthless once he's been provoked.
Character Background (min. of 2 paragraphs):
As a child born from a line of mercenaries and knights, he was initially trained by his mother and father on how to use various weapons, starting at the young age of seven (7). However, at the age of 13, after repeated attempts to train him, It became apparent he was unnaturally inept at using weapons, but instead had a talent of creating them out of even the crudest of materials, even though he lacked the ability to use them properly and effectively. They continued trying to train him for two more years before An assignment to slay a troublesome wolf pack took his mother from him, leaving his father to pick up the pieces and try to find a better use for the boy's talents. He sent Laertes off to one of the smaller neutral cities before being called to serve the king in his army. There a Blacksmith by the name of Ralof took him in, and saw the potential in the young boy, and offered to apprentice him for five years while he found his way through the world.
By the age of 21, his own skills matched Ralof's own, despite still being an apprentice. At the age of 23, after his apprenticeship had ended, Ralof was frequently being outdone by Laertes, who, despite thinking his work inferior, was getting more and more commissions due to his natural talents in creating tools, weapons and armor. Eventually, at the age of 27, He bought the forge that Ralof owned from him and began to take a small amount of pride in his craftsmanship; though he still thinks that the only proof that he was any good as a smith would be to completely repair or reforge an artifact, essentially restoring it to it's perfect state, as if it was never damaged or decayed centuries ago.
After a few months of running the forge that he had bought, a group of thieves ransacked it one night. After the thieves destroyed his forge, Laertes decided to move on to a new life and he wandered far out into the wilderness. He set up a camp in the middle of a forest and was relaxing and staring up at the stars when he was attacked by a pack of wolves. He was able to fend them off, however, he suffered great wounds and passed out. He later woke in an unknown location.

I used to play on a server for close to a year and a half and I really miss the connection that all of the members had with each other, so I am hoping to find that here eventually. How do you age? Are you becoming more tolerant, more accepting, more indifferent; more mellow etc. -I suppose I have aged well. I feel as if I'm decently mature for my age, but, eye of the beholder I suppose.
How do you view your attitude and relationship towards your parents? -Me and my mom get along most of the time. It's not like I hate my mother or anything, but everyone has there differences occasionally.
What are your views on the current situation in Africa and sympathetic people for their cause. Are they hypocrites or genuine? -I don't think anyone would say that the situation in Africa is good in any way. I also don't believe it's really my place to judge these sympathetic people, so I don't really have an opinion on whether they're hypocrites or genuine. Plus, if I were to say then I would be over generalizing which just isn't fair.
How long have you been playing minecraft: The update or two before Beta is when I got the torented version, then I bought not too long after Beta came out.
Why do you want to join Ghostcraft (Please be descriptive): I want to sit back, relax, and build my self a nice home. I hope that this is a great community in which I can socialize with and such. While I do enjoy pvp, I would restrain myself for you guys :P.

Why do you like our server?: This server seems like the community would be fairly mature. I am in search of a vanilla-is server, and this doesn't have any huge plugins like heroes or the such.
Any suggestions based upon your first impressions?: I feel like there should be some sort of age restriction.

What command should be used if you need a mod, would like to report griefing, or suggest something?: /modreq
Anything else we should know about you?: I enjoy pvp, but I am looking to take a break from the average hardcore pvp servers that I am usually one. I just want to sort of sit back, relax, and build myself a nice home with a nice community.

Reason(s) you should be accepted: Because I'm a serious player and I don't want to cause any trouble. Quite the opposite actually, I will help as much as I can.
