My father-in-law has the exact same problem -- I had figured it would have been straight forward to use the PSN Cloud backup of the save file, but I can't figure it out. Are there any tutorials out there?

Take a deep breath, write a thorough post including all potentially relevant details... maybe even check it for spelling/punctuation before submitting.
People are much more likely to take the time to help you IF you take the time to write a well thought-out post.
(Also, I despise threads with subjects like yours. 'error' provides no information... be descriptive!)

Oct 7, 2010Just set up my first Minecraft server with MCLawl. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.Posted in: Alpha - Minecraft Servers
How do I establish a spawn jail on my server?
How do I establish a list of acceptable usernames?
How do I establish a different spawn point (out of jail) for these acceptable usernames?
Oct 7, 2010I'm attempting my first MCLawl server. I got MySQL installed, server installed. It runs. I can join from my local machine...Posted in: Server Administration
but when I paste the link to a friend (not on same local network)... he gets put in a random, hilly world. Not my flat, green MCLawl.
EDIT: Some randomer just joined... so I guess my server was listed on the Classic --> MP page? Any way to prevent that?

I hosted a Server on my WinXP Desktop. I can join it myself, no problem. Shortly after a second, local machine joins the game (Mac OS), the WinXP Desktop (acting as server) looses all network connectivity (internet, anything).
One time I found the following error in the server window in line with when the second player disconnected:
..."Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset"
And that brought me here. Help?
EDIT: I also see the disconnect error "lost connection: End of stream"... is this related?
EDIT: Realtek RTL8168B/8111B Family PCI-E GBE NIC (Gigabyte mobo, integrated ethernet)
