Here at OptimusMC, we dedicate ourselves to bringing you to best content imaginable. Established over a year ago, with owners that know what they are doing, we were recently saddened by the loss of a server that went by the name of TheNexusMC, which was our home for many years. Lately we've been attempting to fix that, by offering a similar server format to what they had, a long with our own flares and custom unique twists along the way.
Here at Optimus, you won't find plugins used everywhere else, oh no, no, no. Here we pride ourselves on having developers who have extensive knowledge in Java and Web Developing to provide us with a server network that we, and you hopefully, can all be proud of.
But what do we truly offer here? Valid Question! Some, but not all of the features here at Optimus that you won't find on other servers are:
We provide a friendly community for our players to play on.
We have features in our servers, including our amazing Survival Games, that will blow our competitors out of the water!
We like to reward our players, with competitions, ranks, and more.
We aren't greedy, and we don't take any of the profits from our donations as it is. We just like to see our servers stay up, for the community to enjoy.
We are hiring, for those who want to join our ever-expanding staff team.
How friendly are your staff members, though?
Well, that answer is simple, incredibly! Here at Optimus, we pride on giving our staff team the best tools equipped for dealing with players. You are free to contact them at any time via PM, their community email address, or their site wall, so they can help you at any time with any inquiries you may have.
But how good is your SG?
Although it is the only minigame we have as we had to downsize, we pride ourselves on it, and once you join, you'll see why we pride ourselves on it.
We have a large array of maps, from Tropika to Military Isle, and features such as sponsoring, loot drops, a custom border (so that you have to render in less), a middle physical countdown clock and more. We have thought these features through during our design meetings in the hopes that you would like them to, we just hope you do.

Yeah, we are in need of help all of the time from great individuals like you! We are hiring for staff positions at the minute, but to help fund us as we host ourselves off of VPS's, it would be great if you could purchase a cheap title, or donorship rank at our store. Our prices start at a few cents, and go upwards dependent on how much you want to donate. We also need feedback too, and would heavily appreciate it if you would leave some as a reply here, or msg one of our owners/devs on the forums.
We also need builds too, so feel free to submit any that you'd like to myself, as a reply here, to us via PM ingame or on the forums, or via a map submissions post on our website.

Hello. I was hoping that a talented coder could help me with my problem.
I, have a non decent computer, and VBOs helps it with minecraft A LOT. Without it, I could run minecraft anywhere from 10 - 30fps, all settings down as far as they could go and optifine on.
But there is a MASSIVE problem: VBOs tends to crash my client when i turn to look at certain entities (Cows, Endermen, etc.)
So I came up with this idea, If someone was to hide these mobs from my client, or use the non vbos ones, I wouldnt crash, but still get a massive FPS improvement from VBOS. I don't crash from other player entities though, so it is safe for you guys to not have to hide them
Please.. Someone do this for me. I cant play this wonderful game well on 1.8 without it
Note: It has to be compatible with OPTIFINE, and it HAS to work on multiplayer. (Not a server, just so i can connect to servers and it keeps doing the same things to entities)
