    Hi there! I'm looking to make a shop in my minecraft server that cycles through different signs if you press another sign.


    I'm not quite sure how to do this.


    I want the 'shop' sign to give the player an item, if they have a certain number of precious stones, be it emerald or diamond.

    Then a sign to the left or right would cycle the 'shop' to have a different item to sell.


    My mind thinks that there would be signs placed elsewhere that I could move around.

    I also think it might be possible to just encode those 'selector' signs to cycle through the items on the 'shop' sign without moving anything. Instead replacing the 'shop' sign, when the player uses the 'selector' sign. But I don't know if the 'selector' would be able to loop, or whether it would end. My hopes would be for it to loop.

    This is what my brain is thinking. I just don't know how to put it into JSON.


    That line assumes we're using scoreboards to track values. As I don't think minecraft could tell the difference between signs just by what's on them. It's probably going to see the same thing no matter what extra NBT data is on the sign. *shrug* but I don't really know. And that's why I'm here.

    Due to a glitch in version 1.1.2b the Hecate spawn overtakes the other mobs when the magic level in an area reaches 20+. How do you manually lower the magic level?

    Hi there! I've been playing on a modded server with my friends. Using the modpack Direwolf20.

    We added Treecapitator into the list of mods, because. Why not, right?

    One of the trees was not working with the mod, so I found a premade code for it. It of course is the Witchwood tree from Ars Magica 2.

    Here's the code

    Now, as far as I can tell. That should work perfectly. But whenever I start the server with that code in the Treecapitator.cfg files, it gets moved to the top of the file, to be left unused.

    Is there a flaw in the code? I don't see one. Help!

    posted a message on 1.5 Redstone Update Released!
    I didn't really have any anticipation for this update, but I really do like the beautiful redstone blocks. I just wish I knew what to use them for. LOL. I'm not much into redstone contraptions. Doesn't make a whole lotta sense to me. Please let me know if someone decides to give a tutorial or explanation of how all the new parts work. :o
    Also. How the heck did they make the rocket ship? That was freaking awesome!

    Any mods i should know about installed on your .jar: I usually have Rei's minimap installed to keep me from getting lost. And I have NEI installed for my SMP worlds.

    I uh... Have a question... I'm running a basic Minecraft server with Little Blocks and Gulliver's mod.
    Sometimes I'll build something, and It'll disappear. I don't know why. But it sure is annoying. Definitely building above the height of 32. It's at like... 63 and the first time it happened it was at 59. :B
    ALSO. I cannot get rid of the Little Blocks base. This bugs me, because sometimes I change my mind on where I want the Little Blocks to be, and I want regular blocks around it.
    Oh! Also, I was trying to build a block out of little blocks... It appears to work, but when I relog from the server, they disappear. The first time it happened, I built a skyscraper. It was 3 or 4 regular blocks tall. This one was made by placing sandstone in a 1 regular block square. Uh... I believe I made the skyscraper out of iron blocks.
    LATER THAT DAY:
    I have made a discovery! When I was making things in creative mode, they had a tendency to disappear. The blocks apparently are still there though. I can place another block where I had one, and it will place itself, but it will go back into my inventory. Then when I punch that block out, the one I had placed before replaces itself with what should be the block I placed. So for example... I put an iron block tower in one spot. Well. I put a plank in one of the spots, and punched it out. Now sitting in front of me is a dropped iron block. :o And then it quickly puts itself into my inventory because I'm near it.
    I hope I've made this clear... The fact that I was in creative mode when things disappeared may not have anything to do what it. But it just happened to happen like that to me.
    As I am poking and prodding at things, I am logging out of my server and then back in to see if what I placed disappears.
    At one point, I was trying to remove all the blocks from a certain portion, and I relogged, and then the disappeared pieces were there! Not all of them, of course, but most of them! The ones that were gone had been punched out by my "place and punch" method I was talking about earlier.

    Hey peeps.
    So... I'm a fan of all the Let's Play series going on. But I thought it would be fun to do one with someone else. Maybe with a specific mod? Idk. Like... Pokemon... Digimon... Mo'Creatures... Simply Horses... Those are just some ideas running through my head, don't limit me to them. I'm just throwing things out there.
    I do not know if hosting on MY computer is a good idea. It gets laggy. And I also was paying for a 5 person server at one point, but that was laggy... So if someone has a server to host, that would be helpful. If not, I would be happy to reopen that server I was paying for, 'cause Lord knows I don't have the computer/internet to host a server off my machine.
    Other information you might want to know:
    Just call me Wick.
    I have a webcam. It picks up a TON of extra sound around my house. I might be able to fix this... If not... I WILL FIND A WAY TO GET JUST MY VOICE. Or, if you're ok with it, I'll just leave it.
    Uh... Actually, I don't know what else you'd wanna know.
