I totally agree with you. I was hoping for a far more challenging mob before 1.8, considering how Notch explained it. I was also hoping it would take more than a few hits to kill them, and that they would hit a little harder. And their weakness to water is just weird. Just bring a bucket of water with you, and if one gets near you, put it down. I think it was also mentioned somewhere that they are a rare spawn, but I see them everywhere at night. I also think that they should be able to stay alive during the day, like Creepers.
And your Enderpearl idea is freaking awesome, I would love it if Notch included that in the game. But if nothing is done to add to the difficulty of the Endermen, then grinding Enderpearls for that use would be easy as hell.
Seems fair, but i still don't like the idea of moving player-placed blocks.
Also instead of beefing up their attack, maybe if you stare at one Enderman in a pack, all of them look at you. Like they mimic each other. That way if you look away, all of them attack you.
This is another epic idea. And I agree with moving player-placed drops. Didn't Notch say that they wouldn't be able to do that in the first place?
I recently downloaded the Aether mod, and when I started playing it, it was perfectly fine, it played without any issues. But after I downloaded the newest version of the DokuCraft texture pack with Aether support, after a few minutes (or in the latest case, a few seconds), the game crashes. I don't know whether it's a problem with the mod, the texture pack, or both, but I'd like to actually be able to play the game again.
If anyone knows what to do to solve this, it would really help.
I downloaded TooManyItems earlier, and it worked perfectly, but then after downloading the Zombe modpack (and obviously enabling the mods I wanted to use), the interface for TMI won't show up, even after pressing O, which shows and hides the interface for it. I'm not really experienced with things like this, or mods in general, so if anyone knows what's wrong or how to fix it that'd be great.

Wii, PS3, and XBOX (it would be too lame for a PC release)

Edit
That's a good idea, but what if they aren't holding a block?

I saw that in the instructions, but I didn't really give it much thought.
