    Minecraft is a GREAT game don't get me wrong but it still lacks some features that can ultimately make it a SUPER GREAT GAME.

    Some of the features are as follows:

    An In-Game Server Hoster

    Like how TF2 does it. All you have to do is click "Make a new server" perhaps under the "Multiplayer" menu. How easy would that be? No longer will you have to go and download separate files just to host a two player server. With the new modding API i can only imagine how easier it would be to install mods for multiplayer.

    A Friends List

    Minecraft gets larger, and larger everyday. How are you supposed to know which server your friends are in when there are literally thousands of servers running each day? A friends list that's how! It's simple. Just like how Steam does it. You can add friends and you can see what they're doing. You can see what server they're on and chat. Wouldn't that be convenient? No more having to change windows to your preferred instant messenger when it's all here. In your favorite game.

    An In-Game Voice Chat

    Although most of us use Skype for easy communication some of us don't. The voice-chat might seem like a bad idea since there are many under aged players in our community. But a voice chat would be handy. Who has the time to type when being chased by a group of creepers? Maybe only limit voice chat to friends or let the server admin handle it but this has to happen.

    A Proper Mod Support

    I know that there's a modding API coming soon but I think that adding and installing mods should be as easy as using a texture pack. A click-to-use system where you can choose which mods are used in which save games. Hopefully this gets added.

    stop using mcpatcher since its tedious and horrible. use optifine, its a mod that lets you tweak ALL of the graphic options in MC. it also improves your framerate and lets you use hd stuff. here it is

    with the recent updates of minecraft i may not update this mod for over the next week or so. the reason for this is because jeb is releasing patch after patch of bugfixes. i am currently waiting for the next stable update, then i'll update this to 1.2, whenever that may be. thanx for your concern
