Maybe one of your servers is hogging your CPU, you can always install a server management platform (like multicraft, but that one is payed. Or you can go with pterodactyl the free one), this should help with resource management.

    Thanks, I'll look into it!

59 views - 0 suggestions, BUT! I got it figured out.

I changed all of my "ench" to "StoredEnchantments" and it worked as intended. So if anyone else faces this problem, there is the solution.

posted a message on Creating a custom Vendor(Villager)

    Hello again all!

I am working on a trade village for our players on my server, and although I have most of them set up, I have having a bear of a time with the Enchanted Book vendor/villager. I thought I had the command correct, and you can buy that particular book, but then you can't enchant ANY of the particular items with them. It's like they're just an empty icon. The anvil just gives you the red 'X' of Doom!. The command I used is as follows:

    /summon villager ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1,PersistenceRequired:1,Silent:1,NoAI:1,CustomName:Tim,Offers:{Recipes:[{buy:{id:gold_ingot,Count:16},sell:{id:enchanted_book,Count:1,Damage:0,tag:{ench:[{id:16,lvl:5}]}},maxUses:9999999},{buy:{id:gold_ingot,Count:16},sell:{id:enchanted_book,Count:1,Damage:0,tag:{ench:[{id:17,lvl:5}]}},maxUses:9999999},{buy:{id:gold_ingot,Count:16},sell:{id:enchanted_book,Count:1,Damage:0,tag:{ench:[{id:18,lvl:5}]}},maxUses:9999999},{buy:{id:gold_ingot,Count:16},sell:{id:enchanted_book,Count:1,Damage:0,tag:{ench:[{id:32,lvl:5}]}},maxUses:9999999},{buy:{id:gold_ingot,Count:16},sell:{id:enchanted_book,Count:1,Damage:0,tag:{ench:[{id:48,lvl:5}]}},maxUses:9999999}]},Profession:2,Career:1,CareerLevel:3}

    What have I done wrong?

    Thank you very much!

Edit: Well, it looks like it still doesn't work. The server throws out the error "String too big (was 34788 bytes encoded, max 32767)" and kicks me out.

Does anyone know why Mining Turtle isn't supported as a command block in 1.10 and beyond?

    Mining Turtle 1.9

(I should post that I've just come back to the game after leaving in 1.9)

Thank you! I figured this was the answer, so I used a command block and created an Ore Trader NPC Villager.

Is there a way to change (increase or decrease) ore veins after the world has been generated?

posted a message on Server Issues/Questions for Admins

    Hello All!

I have built a server for my friends and I to play on. I have it hosted at work (good bandwidth and use of a VM server). Here is my configuration:

    VMWare Virtual Server

    Windows Server 2012 R2 - updated

    64bit Java

    32GB RAM

    4 CPU's with 2 Core's each

    Minecraft server 1.12.2

    Forge 1.12.2-14.23.1.2582

Mods - Advanced Inventory, Inventory Tweaks, Iron Chests, Journey Map, Loot Bags, More Furnaces, Roguelike Dungeons, & Twilight Forest

Hefty VM, right? Yeah... Here's the problem, and it may be because I don't have enough experience running Minecraft servers. I'd like to run 4 worlds concurrently (Survival, Survival PvP, Creative, & Hardcore). I know how to switch the ports to start 4 servers on the same machine. I have all 4 of the servers up and running right now. Here is their start line:

    "java -server -d64 -Xmx4G -Xms4G -XX:+UseLargePages -XX:LargePageSizeInBytes=2m -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.1.2582-universal.jar nogui"

Whenever I start flying around in Creative mode to check out the world layout I get the dreaded "Can't keep up!" error and the worlds lag.

Where have I messed up? (please be gentle with me) lol

I figured out the issue this morning. I played around with the IronChests PBDC resource pack and added the More Furnaces to that ZIP file and it worked.

posted a message on Problem getting textures to work...

Hi All! I hope someone can help. I am running a Minecraft Forge modded server for my kids and their friends, and I have started playing on it. I like the look of the SoarTex-Fanver resource pack and use it exclusively. I added two mods the other day, More Furnaces (http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/more-furnaces) and Iron Chests (http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/228756-iron-chests). Someone had made a resourcepack for Iron Chests (http://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patches-rel/ironchests-t357.html) and I've gotten it to load. However... The resource for More Furnaces (http://bdcraft.net/forum/512x-64x-more-furnaces-whole-tree-axe-mods) is only a texture pack, and even following the instructions made for it, I can not get the textures to load.

Can any of you minecraft guru's help me figure this out?
