    posted a message on A "HostileTo" tag!

    This works to stop mobs from attacking each other. However, what if I wanted a normally passive mob to attack me? Is it possible? I tried to make a snowman on team "TWO" and myself on team "ONE", but even in survival mode it did not throw snowballs at me.... Is there any way to make this happen?

    I'm going to try this out right now! It might solve the problem that made me suggest this, although a HostileTo tag might be simpler. Thanks for your help :)

    Ah. So you looped it teleporting over the head of the nearest player? Smart. Thanks for this, it was helpful! Sorry I couldn't help you with your other problem :l

    Uh, if I may ask...how did you put the silverfish on the player's head? I need to know.

    posted a message on Make a Snow Golem attack a player...help!

    Hello, kind people! I was wondering if some of you could give me some help.

    I am trying to make a Snow Golem attack a player. Here are some ideas I had. The first ones are the most preferabIe.... These are ways I don't know how to do. I could always put a player in a boat with an invisible mob, but that's not the kind of thing I'm going for.

    1. Make the Golem hostile to the player

    2. Make a mob (probably a mini slime) ride the player to simulate the snowman attacking the player.

    I actually can't think of anything else. I hope somebody can help me! Maybe there is a way I am not thinking of. :) Thanks, everyone! (I'm not telling you the map I'm trying to make because I don't want anybody to steal my idea and leave me in the dust. No offense intended.)

    BTW I also posted this in the command block discussion.

    I'm not super good at teams or scoreboards, but I will look into that stuff. I just feel that this is a lot simpler way, without making Team 1 and Team 2 and all that. Thanks for your opinions!

    posted a message on A "HostileTo" tag!

    For some mapmakers, mobs just aren't able to be customized enough. I wanted to make Snow Golems that would throw snowballs at players, but I wasn't able to. If we had a HostileTo tag, we could make all kinds of mobs hostile to players and other mobs. This would also be extremely helpful for when a youtuber wants to make a mob battles video.

    The command would go something like this:

    A zombie that attacks everything but players: /summon zombie ~ ~ ~ {HostileTo:["!player"]}

    A Snow Golem that attacks only players and chickens: /summon snowman ~ ~ ~ {HostileTo:["player","chicken"]}

    I'm not sure if my current command format would cancel out the mobs that the mob you are summoning is automatically hostile to (or even if my command format is correct) but it's the idea that counts. What to you guys think about this idea? I'd love to know!

    Ummm...huh. It was working before, but now it is not. It gives me the book whether or not I have enough, and clears as many as it can from my inventory. Suggestions, anyone?

    posted a message on Christmas Burning Map for Popularmmos, my favorite Youtuber!

    Hello everybody -- Welcome to the Christmas Burning Map for Popularmmos, my favorite youtuber of all time!

    If Pat and Jen choose to play this map, they will be burning several Christmas themed structures, including:

    ~ A Christmas Tree

    ~ Pat dressed as Santa

    ~ Jen dressed as an Elf

    ~ Jen's Christmas Stocking

    ~ Pat's Christmas Present

    (I know that your typical burning map has only three structures, but there are so many good Christmas ideas, and I just had to build them all. However, if you would prefer a typical length video, you can just choose three to burn.)

    Special features of the map include:

    ~ 18 kits, 6 of them Christmas themed

    ~ A giant snowman lobby

    ~ Christmas presents that you can find and trade in for special items!

    (It took me a little while to build this, which is why it's a little later than I would have preferred. I hope you still have time to play it before you go on vacation -- it would be a nice present to me if you do!)

    Screenshots Download (If you want more than what I included as attachments)

    If you like this map and want me to create another, just be sure to mention it in the video, or message me. Enjoy my map!

    posted a message on Execute Command: Can someone help me use "detect" to clone a block?

    That worked! Do you know of a way to adapt it so that different kits could cost the same amount? And since these kits are going to be a bit complicated, which command block should I change to clone a different chest into the same place?

    That seems like it will work, except I will be cloning a block instead of giving them something. Will I hook up the normal command block to a comparator or something? (I haven't done much with chain command blocks....)
