In any case, I started working on it again, so expect more updates starting today! Currently working on the electric castle itself, tell me what you think.
Looks crazy! Quick question. How do you make circles so large? I've used that circle chart which I think is from Dwarf Fortress, but it only goes up to a diameter of 45.
If you just need to make a quick circle you can use paint. Hold CTRL while using the circle tool to make a perfect circle, then count the pixels.
Usually my builds don't get this much attention this fast. Thanks for the support guys!

I know most of you came into this thread expecting a Electric Castle, but I have spent several months planning how to do each section of this build. I have not yet finished the concept for the Castle itself and will not begin building it until I have done so.
Yes, this is based on Ayreon's "Into The Electric Castle. It is one of my favorite albums of all time and I wanted to do something to show that.
This is a WIP adventure map that will be released when its done.
It's a shame no one comments on stuff like this...
I think it's awesome, but you should mix up some of the blocks every now and then. Too much stone and wood. The exterior is fine though.
I completely agree, however as you might have guessed interiors are not exactly my forte. I'll keep working in it though.

Yes, the airstrip was planned when I started building it. I'll upload pictures in a few minutes but I added smaller fighters to the ship too.
GUYS! We have a problem! DreamEater was just attacked by ROKH1 and Broken Paradise, DreamEater can only last about 2 hours before imminent defeat. Someone, anyone needs to send backup right away! You have 2 hours before Dreameater explodes.
Hello Minecraftians, and welcome to my space war thread! I guess I should start out with a story huh?

A few months ago I was asked by a friend to make a ship that could hold an entire city for a server he was gonna setup, of course we were only joking at the time as such a feat would take an insane amount of time. I quickly grew fond of the idea though and started thinking of a cool ship that I could make in a still reasonable amount of time. Enter "Broken Paradise" This being one of the largest projects I had ever undertaken It took me about a week to finish the exterior of the ship. After I finished my first ship a thought entered my mind. Wouldn't it be awesome if I got a bunch of unique ships and put them into a battle against each other? Of course me being me I almost instantly started working on another ship called "Wonderland" I spent about a day working on it but unfortunately never finished it. I got preoccupied with other things and completely forgot about the Space War, but then a few days ago I saw a thread in which someone had made a ship. This resparked the idea and I again started working on another ship which I decided to name "DreamEater". However this time I realized I wouldn't be able to accomplish this alone. That's where you come in.
Short Version: Made Broken Paradise -> Tried to make 9 more ships -> gave up. -> saw a thread. -> made DreamEater. -> trying again.
Ultimate Goals of the Project.
10 ships Vs 10 ships, Nukes detonating, smaller fighters attacking each other, explosions, and much more!
What you can do to help
Build a ship and send it to me! I'll then integrate it into the scene and add special effects.
Just send me a PM with the following things.
1. Pictures of the ship.
2. A download link for the ship
3. What class of ship is it? (Destroyer, Battleship, Carrier, or Cruiser)
4. What do you want the ships role in the scene to be?
5. Name of the ship?
I am also looking for a increased render distance mod, MCDouble View isn't cutting it unfortunately
And if anyone wanted to make a customized texture pack I wouldn't say no.
