Would be quite useful. All the renderers I have come across so far make no mention of the windows 10 edition and the folder structure of the maps appears to be different than the classic MC. So are there any renderers out there that can render my world and nether maps for the windows 10 edition?
My friend currently hosts a Minecraft server on his home computer for me, himself, and another friend of ours. The problem is it's his home computer and can't stay on all the time. So, we decided that one of us would buy a cheap computer and host a Minecraft server on it. I have a different friend who's willing to sell me a single-core 2.4 GHz (not sure exactly which processor it is) with 2 GB of RAM for 20 dollars; those are the only specs he knew. My question is, would that computer be good enough to host a Minecraft server (running Linux) for four to six people?
Just copy it all into MS Word, it'l format it straight and properly per line. They all have new line codes in them. Notepad just doesn't align it that way.
Oh damn, thanks.
@endofzero Aye, SQL is an option for me (I have an offsite SQL database I can use). This looks cool. Hmmmm... Is that McAdmin?
The service I have gotten from the provider really makes it worth it to me. And I like their integrated donation system (as do my users) meaning the money doesn't goto my paypal account, it goes to my account with the server provider.
Perhaps shopping around is worth it, one of my requirements being of course some sort of integral donation system that allows my users to deposit into my account with my provider, I'm sure its not a rare thing or anything.
But then again I don't know - they've been nothing but great to me and paying that little bit extra feels worth it. Is it really a bad price?

Future incoming mods: Towny, Prison.
When we eventually bring in towny, at that point, PVP will be enabled again.
Creepers are currently disabled from even spawning. Explosions are disabled globally until we bring in towny mod (and firespread is permanetly disabled). When Towny comes into play, so do creepers, and explosives.
We currently have a couple mods and a couple admins, and are seeking more regular players and expansion (hey, who isn't?)
Donations will be once again accepted starting on December 29th. We have a fair donation item shop, meaning it does not break the game for non-donaters, but is simply a thankyou to those who have donated. In addition to this shop, donaters also get reserve-listed on the server for some time (details in forum).
Area protection is free and unbiased. Want an area protected? No problem! We don't even need to see a house to setup a zone for you. Just pick where you want your home to be.
Ask to be added to the village authorized user list, and you can then build in the village - and access the community chests.
Just tested, and mine also appears not to work as I was not on the whitelist yet I still go in.. But I am an admin, maybe that overrides it.. :tongue.gif:
Temporarily removed hey0 + my other mods, making my server a 'fun' server in the meantime and intending to restore a backup when everything is back to normal.. And, everyone is having these odd java errors. Everyone accept me, at least I haven't seen them firsthand yet.
I was wondering if you could make a Dragon Warrior terrain image set.
Like the one seen in the old NES system.
Thats exactly what I have done with v 0.02. :smile.gif: I decided to revert back to using the NES 8bit DW textures again. Its actually much harder than just ripping the 16bit textures, but I'm liking my results so far.
Well it wasn't intended as a suggestion, but I suppose it would make a good one! I like Darkels idea, if your friendly with a goblin village, maybe they have a shop for you.
the major flaws i see are:
1. the multiplayer does not have mobs to attack
2. how will u stop the robber?
1. I actally just intended it for myself, but someone on reddit mentioned this would fit well in SMP. When there are mobs to attack.
2. in SMP, Maybe someone could run the shop. Someone tries to rob the place, they lock them in and kill them. If they get away, perhaps the shopkeeper puts a gold bounty on the persons head. Would open up a whole new mechanic in SMP really, once its stable enough. If robberies are a problem someone could run a bounty business. In Single player, its just a matter of RPing to follow the rules (like I noted in the top post).

Its not 'released' as it were but developmental builds are available and there are multiple updates daily.
Checkout bukkit.org for more information. They have guides for getting one running and stuff - my server is currently running Bukkit.

I could have sworn I seen one around before-- but I am unable to find it again.
Does anyone know of one? I could really use this and I'm sure many others could as well. The server.log is nearly impossible to read through.

How well will this server handle as a dedicated unit?
AMD X2 2.3GHz / 4 GB+ / 250 GB
Cost works out to $119/month, its dedicated as twice previously mentioned, with infinite bandwidth from a provider who has treated us well.

And, can we use the nether yet? I flagged nether to true and it just turned the whole world into the nether..
Also, any good suggestions for anti cheat mods? Something that will kick/ban people who dupe/generate items and whatnot...
Currently running hey0 + cuboid, and will be bringing in worldprotect soon.
