I have a serious problem with tubes, in that the current system allows for oversupply - eg. I need 3 lux for nitor, but 4 is sucked out, and the rest clogs up the system when the suction changes to potentia. There is not enough time for the excess essentia to get back to the jar before the next type is requested, and the suction from other jars interferes.
In general, I feel like tubes would work a whole lot more smoothly if multiple sources of typed suction were allowed, or suction with jars was handled differently.
Edit: I think I found the actual problem - essentia is flowing into pipes with lower suction levels (which should not occur) - I assume this happens around the time when the suction type is changed. In the attached screenshot, nothing was attached to this tube, and yet the humanus essentia made its way in.
My luggage is no longer teleporting to me... started happening shortly after it was struck by lightning. Is there any way to teleport it, force it to teleport or locate it?
Bug...? I put Air sigil, fast miner and green grove into the sigil of holding, and I cannot add blood lamp as well. I was able to put 4 sigils into my other sigil of holding.
You said dissipate, but was it going slowly over time(If this is the case, it is the altars internal buffer filling) or all after a few seconds(You would have on old version with galacticraft.)
You can't take liquid LE out of the soul network. It is a one way conversion. But there might be a way to use LP to create LE....
You said that you can't put it back in? Then I'm going to assume your first problems answer is A. Second, the altar has two internal buffers: One for imput, the other for output. By default, you can pump into and out of the altar at a rate of 20MB/second (Fun fact: At the default rate it takes a little over eight minutes to completely fill or empty the altar). Basicly, your problem isn't that altar isn't accepting the liquid, it's that the altar is doing it REALLY slowly. Fear not, this transfer rate can be buffed later on with the right rune. This was done as a balance point.
You can't "Connect" an altar to the soul network. It would ruin the fun of crafting otherwise.
The blood was 'uncrafting' (the grey swirls) for about as long as it was working for. Am I right in assuming that it is at 0% when the grey swirls stop?
I don't have pipes (Magic World 2). I can put my bucket of LE into the blood altar as an item (which I got from infusing a bucket), but I can't put the liquid LE itself back into the altar.
This mod is kinda confusing... blood seems to disappate from the altar REALLY quickly, I can't seem to put liquid life back into the blood altar, and I can't connect the life essence in my network to my altar. Can anyone suggest how I might do these things???
Similarly to golem cost being boosted, could the cost for animation cores be nerfed to 4 of each aspect? Less importantly (as warded jars can be used), could infusion costs be changed to multiples of , or even 4?
New research is good, but no better than old research. Like the new thaunomicon layout (thank goodness there is a cheat-sheet for aspects that have been discovered), LOVE the catalysts for the crucible, bringing back taint in the world was a good idea and aspect-vis is nice too.
Structures could spawn more often (apart from black pillars, their new mechanic is great!), as I find them very rarely. Also, I'm worried that I will run out of research aspects.
Every new version of Thaumcraft is so nicely polished that I cannot help but try them out!
They're flashing because you can't. You need to research then (in game, I don't mean google it). Read the first tab of the Thaumonomicon.
All the basic ones (eg. ores, plants, research) are flashing - I now realise that it is because of a conflict with the Voxel modpack (which I have installed too).
Voxel modpack, optifine, thaumic tinkerer and twilight forest (and TC4, of course) - VoxelFlight was the issue.

Beautiful mod, but lacks a sense of scale. Structures should be no rarer than 1 every 1000 chunks.
