There's no sense in just uploading videos if no one wants to watch them. I actually have to spread myself around, first.
But currently if you get any interest you have nothing to show and by the time you do they will have forgot about you. Some people will just randomly find you via youtube. If you have something good to show it will go a long way towards having success
I decided to blog the progress of a game to completion (or at least while still practical and interesting. So if it just adding more levels etc at the end it won't be every hour or so). I have a history of development having my game Cosmic Balance in the iOS store, having the Marsyard Simulation on display at a museum and used in education classes, as well as a gallery based augmented reality app Thinkspace AR. I currently work for Thinkspace developing programs and materials for them. I have also managed to convince the museum to let me run some unity education classes
I am happy to answer any questions or have discussions. I like the idea of developing in a public space and appreciation anyone who watches/comments.
Powerhouse museum in Australia has released Thinkspace AR. It is a free minecraft themed augmented reality gallery which shows off the young students work in Thinkspace (7-12 years old) and you can view the targets to work with the app on their website.
Say you want no time between each change in the texture, you just need to make a blank/empty .txt file with the same name as your block or item texture. Then, in your block/item texture file, you start with your first 16x16 texture then directly underneath it in the same image, create the next texture and so on. Basically minecraft will run through each of those 16x16 textures.
How does minecraft know how to play that text file?

Using it in your signature in forums is another good way.
I too am interested in ways of raising profile but I am not sure how to go about it.

It is free and you can find the targets on the website(just point at the screen) or visit the gallery in the museum. Have fun!

Could someone please paste an example.

the old method of using
public int getBlockTextureFromSide(int i)
{
return texture;
}
where texture is the index doesn't work with the new method for registering images.
