posted a message on What happend to 1.13?
    Quote from ZaffreAqua»

I've seen jack all for news of upcoming stuff in 1.13 as of recent. I assume this is because they're ironing out the Bedrock/BT edition. Although I've been out of touch in some cases, as I frankly, like Geneo, don't touch Minecraft much anymore nowadays except for modpacks.

Development of the Java version does not slow down because of the development of the C++ edition. They have completely different teams working on them.

    posted a message on JustNuggets

    Introduction

Ingots are great, don't get me wrong, but do you know what's better than ingots? Nuggets. They're like ingots, only, they take up more space! There's literally no downside! Well, maybe...

Anyhow, sometimes, a mod does not add a nugget version of all the ingots. Fake studies show that this makes people deeply sad. To fix this dire problem, I have created JustNuggets. This mod adds a nugget for every ingot and gem registered in the ore dictionary. The nugget will take a colour from the ingot texture, making them work with resource packs.

    Current Features

    • Automatically generates a nugget for every ingot and gem found in the ore dictionary.
    • Generated nuggets have the colour of the ingot they come from.
    • Generated nuggets can be crafted into the ingot they come from, and the ingot can be crafted into the nuggets.

    Planned Features

    • Use the golden nugget texture, but greyscale it in code before applying colours to it, instead of using a custom texture.
    • Food nuggets, primarily, a Beef nugget.

posted a message on Minecraft Beta 1.3 Unfix

    Introduction

Minecraft Beta 1.3 was a good update, don't get me wrong. It added some good things, improved some things, and fixed a few bugs. Though there was one bug that they should have never fixed, and the very idea that they even thought this needed "fixing" astounds me.

So, I bring to you, an unfix.

    Current Features

    • Squids can now be milked.

    Planned Features

    • None.

    Mod Download

    Mod Showcase

    Non-existent.

    Footnotes

This mod is not a joke.

This mod works through an interaction event. Since it works through this event, it (probably) won't work with machines that milk entities. I was going to have it be a coremod that edited the EntitySquid class, and then it (probably) would have worked, but I was told, "no".

posted a message on [Program] Quiver - Resource Pack Creator/Manager

    Quiver

    What is Quiver?
Quiver is a resource pack creator and manager for Minecraft.

    How does it work?

    • First, you need to have Minecraft installed.
    • Second, you need to select the version of Minecraft you would like your pack to be based on.
    • Third, you need to press the "Create" button.
    • After doing the first three steps, the program will extract everything needed for a resource pack from the selected versions' .jar.
    • The pack will have opened in the editor and you can browse through everything inside the pack and edit and delete any file you'd like.
    • Clicking on an item will show its' source on the right in a panel, no matter if it's an image file or a .mcmeta/.json file.

    What can it do?

    • Generate a resource pack from any version of Minecraft.
    • Show every file from the resource pack in the tree.
    • Show what's contained in each file in a panel on the left (if it's an image, the image is shown with a chessboard background, if it's code, the code is shown with syntax highlighting)
    • Detect installed mods and add their files to the pack.
    • Install resource packs to your Minecraft.
    • Open resource packs for editing.
    • Zip up a resource pack.
    • Open a .zip resource pack.
    • View and edit text files with a built-in text editor.
    • View images with a built-in image viewer.

    What are the requirements?
All you need is to have Minecraft installed and have run it once (to generate the versions folder).

How do I download and run it (Windows)?
Download the .zip file and extract the sub-file, "Quiver". Do not delete anything from the sub-folder. Right-click and open "Quiver.exe", and you can now start making resource packs.

posted a message on Just (a World of) Junk
JustJunk is a new, early in development mod designed to make (some) parts of Minecraft a little harder, whilst also adding "fun" new items and mechanics. It serves to improve your amount of stress during your play and extend your playtime, but not in a good way.

You create a new world, you punch some trees, make some planks. You then go to make some sticks, oh, wait. You only made three... one of them is... broken? You put the broken stick back in the table and turn it into some wooden chunks, you turn those into a wooden plank. You try again, more broken sticks. You're awful at this.
You go back to the tree, some Apples have fallen. Nice. You pick one up and munch it down, you're left with an Apple Core, oh, you can eat that too. Great.
