posted a message on Iron Golem Farms: Is there another way?
I'd like to know if there is another way to make iron golem farms ever since the snapshot. Since it changed and messed with villagers, old farms don't work. Anyone know?

posted a message on Derpus's Guide To Building(All structures, even those that look horrible xD)
Hey guys, the Derp is here! I have come with some guides to building I have thought of, enjoy I hope!

So! You want to know how I alternate with stone brick, wood, and glass? Well, here is a step by step tutorial on one type of house.(If I get enough requests for the other house, I will show a tutorial.) "ENOUGH BLABBERING,LETS GET STARTED"

This is the first house which you will not learn how to build.

    Inside:

This is the one you will learn how to build:

    Inside:

Alright, here is the tutorial for the second house:

First, put a combination of wood and stone brick, something like this:

This works best when put in a chunk, (or multiples of a chunk) since it ends up even. I will be using the 16x16 format, or one chunk, but you could do 32x32, 64x64, 120x120(probably won't get that crazy, but you get my point).

Next you put glass on all pieces of wood. Glass panes may work, but I normally use glass as glass panes are not one of my favorite things to mess with.

Now, you put wood on on each of the stone bricks, like this:

Put stone bricks on top of the glass. NOTE(If you plan to build this taller than 3 blocks, do this, THAN before you do the next step, use wood instead of stone brick.)

Now, I sorta skipped the step-by-step pattern that I was doing, so I will explain it.

You know that wood that we placed on the side of the glass? Well, put another wood block there, until it looks like the picture above. Put stone brick on top of the now 2-block-high wood. Put wood beside the stone brick. We are almost done!

Do I really need to explain the roof?

Make sure you put a 8x8 roof of glass at the top.

Two more steps! If you are using the 16x16 method that I am using, You should put the double doors where it will be 6 blocks on each side of the door.

    LAST STEP!

Right before you complete your first switch on the roof from wood to stone brick, put a ring of glowstone.

If you have any suggestions of different combinations, make sure to post below :) . I will be relasing more soon, make sure to leave feedback!

It's mostly bug fixes, but this is a thing now...

    This is also a thing...

    Happy composting!

I would totally do that.. As soon as I figured out 1.6.2 mods work with 1.6.4, I would love to get these mods to go with this mod. But I can't find the link to 1.6.2 IndustralCraft 2 or 1.6.2 Forestry.

Tip: Dispensers can be loaded with bone meal. So fully automatic is possible, a hopper or any pit that collects bonemeal, dropper pipe/water tunneling to transport items, connection to dispensers. Then make something like redstone auto output with 7-step recorder - a redstone clock which after each move counts and after each 7th resets(again and again), connect grading output to bone meal dispensers and resetting output to piston which holds liquid. Exact result:
    • Dispensers apply bonemeal on your seeds 7 times, due to 7 bone meals it fully grows.
    • Pistons unleash water that washes grown wheat away.
    • Your wheat is waiting at collection hopper large amounts(stacks maybe?)

Great idea! I'm gonna figure out how to sneak the dispensers on the middle rows though.

    Bigger design = more wheat

Yeah, I think it would take up less room if I stacked it instead of making it wider.
It could still be just as effencient with the auto planters I'm working on.

Ok, I'm going to try and make it auto plant. It's pretty easy, so why not?

You might have to replant by hands with some designs, but it is saving you time from harvesting it. Not completely useless, eh?

I have never understood the point. You still have to replant by hand, so your contraption is saving you roughly zero seconds. But people are so proud of these!

    Quoted by Robert

"Maybe it is not about the efficieny. Maybe it is just about the fun of building such a device and search the materials for it, about the challenge to make as much processes as possible automatic. And the proudness if you have accomplished it and have given it a nice design and a nice place in your base, just like the proudness if your grand hall is finally ready. "

    Well said. Very well said.

I messed around in creative, tryna find something to do in my survival world. I had a whole bunch o' redstone, so I tried making something automatic. (Or, at least semi-automatic.) I didn't need more food, but I have a tendency to eat nothing but cookies(I know it's crap food, but it's in great quantity), but Cocoa bean farm was already automatic, but the wheat farm wasn't. So, I wanted to see if anyone thinks it is a good idea to implement my invention in my survival world?

(I'm in creative cause I was testing it)
