Can upload my own configured mod-pack, that will not say Tekkit or FTB? If I cant use my own mod-pack, then I must find a other host for my custom server. That will be sad because this host is very cheep

Edit: I got the server information. Not instant but overall not too slow I guess.

Yes, around 5 - 6 players would work on a 512 MB server. Of course you can try and get more on there but you risk running out of memory and the server crashing.
can the 512mb have 10players no mods? what cp is used?
Generally you need to estimate between 80 - 100 MB of RAM per connected player. You will probably have issues with 10 players online with a 512MB server.

One last question, I read that you have UK servers? Are those available already? I live in europe so a server in UK would be much more pleasant than one in NY.
Yes, our UK servers are online. We don't have it on our order form just yet but if you order a server from us and open a ticket we will gladly set your server up there.
What would the recommended RAM amount be for a server with:

And would be able to hold 25 people?
You'd probably be OK with a 2GB server. Usually I figure about 80 - 100MB of RAM per player.
If you do run into issues our upgrade process is quick and painless, you don't need to rebuild your world or change your server information. Just place the upgrade order and once it is paid for the server is upgraded automatically.
I've got a 10 person server that has a wait list daily now. Can your team assist with migrating from one host to your 2gb tekkit instances?

I have FPSBOX and I love the service. I have been with them a couple of months and man I love it. I am about to release my server to public and I have the help of FPSBOX to do it. I have never once had a issue with them that they couldint fix. They have awsome customer service and I hope one day I could join FPSBOX cause they ARE SO AWSOME.
Just was wanting to ask a few questions as my friends and I have literally spent the last 9.5 hours today browsing different hosts.
1. We have never tried Tekkit, and Tekkit didn't exist the last time we hosted a Bukkit server under BeastNode on their old name before they became BeastNode...How patient are you guys with Tekkit related questions? Some questions I foresee are installing multiplay Mo' Creatures on Tekkit, installing fossils and archaeology, and a few others.
2. Your title says $12/2GB and your thread main post shows $14/2GB but with a recurring 15% off discount. Would we get $12 + 15% or $14 + 15% off?
3. Is the recurring 15% discount for life once you apply it? Back in the day we payed $15.99 for a 1GB server that had 15 slots and we ran a LOT of plugins, this seems quite cheap. We passed on minecrafted's $5 per GB plan because we want to try Tekkit and they don't allow it to be installed.

I've been with FPSBox for a month now. The price is fantastic, and so far I have had no problems with the service whatsoever. I would certainly recommend it to my friends. Other than that, all I really have to say is keep up the good work
Finally got around to purchasing my server last night. I decided to start with a 1gig server to test out the service. Happy to report that my server hasn't shown any sign of lag so far. I haven't had any members on as of yet but the fact that I haven't had a single lag spike on a 1gig server with all my plugins is a good sign of things to come. Defiantly upgrading soon!

Do not buy from them. There is not 100% uptime. I waited for a dedicated server and it is still not ready (Two days after i ordered it). There is no 24/7 support like they talk about. Also they will not respond to me asking for a refund. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY HERE!

The quick answer to this is that we have all the latest CB mods in our control panel. They can be changed simply by selecting it from the Server JAR drop down menu.
Yes, we should have everything available by next week. There was an error with shipping some of the equipment to the datacenter and it was delayed almost a week. Once everything is up and running I will make an announcement here to let everyone know they are available for use.

We allow custom JARs, so yes you can use SNAPSHOT releases. Keep in mind that these are usually beta and may contain bugs.
