its a really jerky thing to make people mod just to test out a texture pack

You don't have to mod minecraft, you'll only miss the armour and items on the shelves, everything else still works
Besides, no one forces you to download or use it ^^
But I guess i'm a real jerk for uploading such a stupid thing...

I like this pack a lot. But... a couple of questions:

    1) Why does this look so $*#%$&% DARK on my system?? When I first loaded it, it took me a few minutes to realize it was noon in the game, not midnight. Putting the Brightness slider to 100% didn't help at all. (And bear in mind, I'm comparing this to numerous other texture packs I've run through in the past day or two, so it's not like I'm totally stunned and have my monitor turned off. Maybe you have yours set really bright?)

    2) Paradoxically, why is stone so bright? If I crank up my monitor so I can see outdoors, mines become dazzling. That doesn't seem right, somehow.

Don't mean to sound overly critical. Otherwise, I'm liking what you've done... a lot of gorgeous work. Unfortunately, that's the way it is with texture packs... often 95% stuff you love, just a couple of details that force you back to your old standby (whatever it may be).

I am really sorry that it doesn't seem to work on your PC. But neither have i ever experienced such a thing, nor got any messages like that. In minecraft my brightness is set to: bright, but only for youtube because the recording is always a little darker than normal. Otherwise everything else is set to normal.....

    example:

Hopefully you can figure something out!

Was wondering if the skybox texture has changed with the latest version, as it doesn't seem like the same sky as shown in this video:

That's not my original texture pack, unfortunately i'm not able to make such a beautiful day sky. I think the night sky is mine. The quality wasn't the best, so i can't say it for sure. But it says it in the description that it's a Shader optifined version of the Smooth Realistic.
Try to contact the uploader, i had nothing to do with this ^^

Looking for a test map for your textures that isn't quite as unstructured as many of those seen on youtube?
    Then look no further!

This map has it all for Minecraft Version 1.5.1!

    - every block - redstone devices
    - every item - TNT boom room
    - every mob - every painting
    - every dimension - snow & rain
    - every biome - fireworks!

    .... and everything is labeled!

In order to enjoy all features, you'll need these mods:

    &
    - Modloader
    - Shelf Mod
    - Armor Stand

go to this link http://www.minecraft...c-texture-pack/ and you will see some images its like a tv with speakers, a fridge and a laptop. is that a mod and if it is, what is it?

These my dear friend are the Paintings in my Textue Pack, have fun decorating your house with them :)

Btw the "laptop" is created by placeing a painting on glass panes, so it won't connect, and the lower part is a pressure plate :)

Can you tell me, where I can get the TV, HIFI System, Fridge an so on...?

Kannst du mir sagen, woher man den Fernseher, Kühlschrank unw. herbekommt?

Well sure, these are paintings, just replace them as long as you get lucky and get the right one ;)
you have to have the aquired space for them though (e.g. 1x2 blocks for the fridge) good luck, can be annoying sometimes ;)

This is the texture pack used by RageGaming in his fsi (Fish Spyder Industries) videos. I love the pack but unfortunatly my computer can't handle your awesomeness. also what program do you use to make these? i am creating my own texture packs and i would love some advice. -veren456

Hey there, it's really unfortunate, that my TP isn't working on your PC ... many people seem to have this problem, that's why i released the 64x64 version. I won't go any lower though, because then it would be too pixely.

Well I usually use Photoshop for the TexturePack and also Gimp and Infranview for the animations .... if that's any helpful ;)

    Cheers, Lisa

    Fire works are not working!

Yes they are, just make sure your firework has a color in it, when it's just a firework without any specific color/shape/size
it wont even work with the vanilla pack!

Couple things though, the clouds on the horizon should obscure the sun and the death star/moon. Looks sort of odd to have the sun and moon in front of the clouds. And they don't move which may just be a limitation to the software. I really have no idea.

Also there is this weird fast blinking thing with the stars going on with large areas of the sky at night. It seems to be centered on the area right in the middle of your view. Again not a huge deal but is just a tiny bit distracting.

    Overall though looks great!

    Hey XtfiwsX!
I know what you mean with the clouds not covering up the sun/moon. I tryed to do it like that, but then the clouds got cut of in the middle and it just looked aweful. But I'll continue to try making it better.
Unfortunately these clouds are not gonna move... but perhaps this will be implemented soon!

Hm... the sky blinking could be, because the Nightsky pic has a very high resolution (2000x3000)
perhaps there is too much details on it, I'm gonna check that out!

So thank you very much for your response, I'll try my best fixing things ;)

    Cheers Lisa

I also think the stone and cobblestone is a bit to light compared to the other stuff like dirt, gravel, stone bricks, bricks etc. and a bit "flat" looking. Many of the textures could benefit from the appearance of more "depth" to them.

Yeah, I get that a lot. But I actually like it like that. I'm just not happy with texures where too much stuff is going on, if you know what I mean.
I added these super flat blocks (such as the iron block e.g.) so you can create modern and flat buildings without having the "pixelythingy" from further away.
I guess it's not the thing for everyone, but there are so many Texture Packs out there which aren't flat ;P

I am not sure why the star wars stuff since this isn't a star wars themed pack as far as I can tell.

I'm just a huge fan, I guess. I started with the Ghast, because I didn't know how to design it, and then all the others came around.
But I think, if someone really doesn't like Starwars he can easily switch the mobs and all whats then left, should be the Deathstar, which I am never going to change, it's just too cool :D

I believe the link to JJJas0n's Fancycraft is outdated.

Thanks for the reminder, has been changed!

I hope ya'll also are looking forward to the official version, 1.4 is amazing!
    Have a nice day!
