When I'm making a texture pack (for myself or a friend) I just throw together different stuff from multiple texture packs (of course creating a few of my own here and there, can't always find things you like out there) into one sort of compilation pack.
When I make my own textures or am editing textures I use my laptop's mousepad and Paint.NET.
The one I use right now uses stuff from MajoraCraft, Corocraft, Painterly Pack, SMP's revival, CUBISM, some random textures I found lying around the net, FEZ texture pack, Jolicraft, 59craft, KabPack, Stega's rpg pack, Really Nice pack, Coterie Craft, Swinecraft, Link's Awakening DX pack, Speedpak pack, True Tile, Antiquity, Romecraft, some Halo texture packs, and one or two of my own textures.
Yesterday i started experimenting with 32x textures, so far ive only done dirt, grass and stone but id like some opinions from you clever texture people before i continue with it, thanks.
