posted a message on What's your user rating?
0 stars. I didn't even know you could rate people until now. Not that it changes my disposition on them as all it takes is 1-2 trolls to lower the rating.

Go on facebook where most of the people aren't gamers and then read a few comments. You'll realise most people don't speak in full English or any other language they're speaking.

The little thing that irks me is the Facebook poll:

    1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1x0 = ??

    A - 8 (30% answer this)
    B - 0 (70% should never reproduce)

Considering that all of us are taught BODMAS, BIMDAS, BIDMAS or whatever from a fairly young age, the idiocy astounds me. I lose faith in my generation every time this happens.

Oh wow, seriously? You remember one obscure subject from your childhood and suddenly you're superior to 70% of people that answered that poll? Maybe you should get to your doctor so that they can cure that nasty case of OMS (Old Man Syndrome).

ACTUALLY, until the mid 20's the brain hasn't become fully developed and therefore any harm caused to the brain will kill brain cells. The brain hasn't fully formed but will eventually restore those brain cells that were killed which is why it "slows down production." The brain has to "catch-up" for lost brain cells.

I agree with the main part of what he is saying in that alcohol doesn't actually kill braincells unless consumed in ridiculous amounts. Any damage done is easy reversible by the brain repairing itself. No braincell death actually occurs.

I guess post count does usually indicate that you visit the forum often. But that's usually the only thing that it shows others.

Humans are perfect, it's society that's flawed.

If humans were perfect, we would have created a perfect society.

Depends if you don't pass the roll to dodge score when the bullets come your way.

posted a message on What are the most unusual things on your desk?
Take your pick: A meerkat handpuppet, pin art thing, £10, a skeleton playing a guitar, a bobblehead roman, a ball that if you throw it down it splats into a flat shape, putty, a dead spider encased in plastic, a small pouch full of semi-precious gems and a map of skyrim (but that's on a shelf attatched above the desk.

My desk is big and cluttered.

How long I can go through the meeting will depend on how long it lasts, but I'll most likely be able to attend.

Sounds good as we haven't had a eeting in a while. Last one was so far back I've forgotten when it was. The old times we used are still good for me but what time the meeting could be set will probably depend on other people :smile.gif:

Gaming. It was a slow evolution over many years, doing works on the computer, watching a video or two, playing crappy flash games. Then BAM averaging 8 hours a day because there's nothing else to do in this shitpile of a town.

If you don't know times tables, then you're not going to fail math horribly like one person says. It just helps to be able to pull them from memory fast as it saves time.

Some people are just dicks. It's just that when it comes to the army and war, people are just more outspoken about it. That said I get really annoyed when an ex-soilder begins spewing "I served this country for X amount of years and this is what I get?". It's a job. You did the job and understood what might result from it (including random disrespect) and soilders essentially accept these terms so they can get payed.

If you really feel strongly about the disrespect given, do something about it. Today the idea of anti-war extends far beyond just rallying against the outbreak of it, but also to the pointless insults hurled at normal people doing a job they're getting paid for, like most average people.
