I loved that game. Held my attention for like a year or two at least when I was younger. I squee a little on the inside whenever someone else mentions it.

    omg foreigner
    Haha
    Seriously loved both DC 1 & 2 though :)
Spent 2 years trying to find physical copies I loved them so much :)

Do you have another psu you can test your rig with?, it could be a bad psu
Unfortunately not :( First desktop I've had in about 15 years lol. I do have a PSU tester around somewhere though. Issue is by the time I find it, the PC will likely turn on again lol

Which means the problem is on Uplay's side ?
    Yes.
Once they make the payment it will be fine. Basically they buy the domain (the website name) for x number of years at a time, if they don't renew that payment in time the name is not theirs until they make another payment.

What kind of power supply do you have? And show us some specs.
(Also work on your grammar, it took me 3 times to read it over. Which is nothing bad, but kind of annoying.)

Hmm lesseeee. From my order lists i believe this is all right
possibly changed my RAM over, I remember at least considering it a while back
    • PSU: Corsair 600W CX (newest part of my build)
    • CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 840
    • Mobo: Asus M4A88T-M 880G
    • GPU: Palit GTX 460
    • RAM: Kingston 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1066MHz
    • HDD: Western Digital WD5000AADS 500GB Hard Drive SATAII

(I'm using a 5+ year old failing laptop with broken keys. I'm doing my best :P)

Even google couldn't help me, so I hope one of you guys can.

Usually I'm comfortable fixing my PC, but this I just don't get..
    • no mobo light on
    • only does it in my house (works fine in others - tested in numerous houses, never had an issues elsewhere)
    • socket is fine as it powers my monitor & stuff
    • PC always begins to work at my house (after I've given up taking it apart checking all connections in case they're loose, given up, gone to bed, then 24 hours later it works as though there was never an issue - same socket as before, nothing changed from when it didn't work)

I cannot think of any possible logical reason, help! :P

Good, I was sick of all the sections anyway, I have always said that each section should be replaced with cat videos.

I would be okay with this.

    Prepare the cat videos!

posted a message on How do you put pictures on your post?
    Quote from -Tom-

There should be an FAQ somewhere easily accessible on the forums with this explained so you don't get as many threads in the support asking how to upload images.
Like the sticky at the top of this section where it's always been? ;)

I don't want to sound impatient at all now but I have not heard back yet. Does that mean anything or is that normal
If you've not heard anything you'll be in the new batch which we've just started on

Does anybody know how long was the longest anybody had to wait on their application, just so I can get a sense of when to be worried. I've been waiting for a month so, just needed to know whether it would be around next week or in September.
You should only be worried after you receive a rejection PM ;) Batches take as long as they take. There's no definite time.

Am I in this batch or still in the next batch?
The applications within each batch do not change. You will be in the next batch until we start on the next batch.

Is there any way to use html to format your thread post? That would make things so much easier for those that know html.
Unfortunately not. However there are online HTML to BBcode editors if you prefer to write in HTML - you could then convert it and paste it in.
