This world has been used since 1.3.2 i believe and I have never had this error. Any help is appreciated. ONe more thing i recently noticed. When trying to delete the Minecraft_Server.exe it alerted me that it is open in Java but the server was stopped and off. Turns out the Java™ Platform SE binary in Task Manager that is the server isnt stopping when the server is. It keeps running.

I completely agree with that then. It goes from green to blue horribly.

You said Minecraft is supposed to be fun. How does the look of swamps make the game any less fun? If you don't like them, just ignore them and move on. You don't have to live next to a swamp biome if you don't want to. That's the beauty of Minecraft.

Minecraft began as a simple building game and it quickly moved to a survival game. Over the course of it's updates, several patches were released that people claimed "ruined the good ole Minecraft". Eventually, however, people got used to these new additions and now they are a vital part of what makes the game fun. 1.8 and beyond is a prime example of this. People claimed that "hunger" and "experience points" transformed Minecraft into a RPG-like game. As a matter of fact it did not, hunger just added to the survival feel, which is one of the main points of Minecraft. After that, came 1.9 (yes all the pre-releases). It gave a use for the experience points, allowing upgrades to weapons so your life could be easier. A similiar addition is potions. They also make life a lot easier. Do these new features, including all the new terrian features and new mobs, make Minecraft a totally different game to all the familiar players? My opinion, is a plain and simple no.
Enchantments and potions are completely optional. If you don't like them, don't use them. Simple as that. Then your game isn't changed much from what it used to be. Of course you may have a disadvantage online, such as on PvP servers or vanilla servers with no rules but hey, gives you just more of a reason to keep a "lookout". Plus, most PvP servers that have organized fights will probably have rules when it comes to enchantments or potions. The new terrian features give another reason to explore that new cavern or dig deeper. These can be turned off too. Hunger, could be an unwanted change to players that like to build or explore and don't keep a stock of food. I, myself, really don't like hunger. I have to stay near a food source or constantly stock up to keep from my health being drained. I don't like peaceful mode either, I like fighting enemies and being scared by that Creeper in the cave. Hunger should be optional in modes above Peaceful, but you got to admit, that hunger keeps you on your feet! Besides, no matter what is done to Minecraft, I'll still play it like crazy. The only thing I don't like is changing traditions. I thought that the square sun and moon added character to the world you lived in. That it showed you were in a world made of blocks. I was severly against changing it to being round but oh well, it's not for me to decide.
So my final conclusion is.............Minecraft is far from being ruined. It's actually being perfected. The new mobs are adding perfect variety in terms of combat (btw the dragon looks EPIC) and the villages, strongholds, etc. give me another reason to venture away from "home" or dig that extra tunnel. So I'm throwing out a huge thank you to Notch and Jeb for making a brilliant game and working hard to put out new content for the dedicated players. Plus another thank you to the entire Mojang staff for just simply being there! Minecraft is becoming better, and it's future of new material is far from over......
P.S.- Whoever designed strongholds did a great job! They look amazing.
