I think I’ll use my own website for hosting content and make sure that Google, Bing, Yahoo, and all the other search engines can find it and put it up for clicks. (Anyone now should just start looking for a website for serious discussions and content if they really don’t like Reddit or Discord as a source).

Basically I assume the Stonecutter is a beefed up version of the MCPE (Bedrock) block that is unused currently. Now it looks like a stonecutter and i think it will have the features of cutting stone of course.

My personal theory on what this means.
Now, if you notice, many of these things are forging and tool related. I believe they are going to change the way tools are made, requiring a actual forging process instead of just assemble. You would first heat metal in the blast furnace, then use the smithing table to shape it, followed by cooling it in a barrel of water and then sharpening it on the grindstone. Wooden tools are exempt, and stone tools simply require sharpening. You need to re sharpen tools after a while. Bows are made the same, but arrows now are made differently, in the fletching table. Keep in mind, all speculation.
BTW, not being negative but did you know that the permanently new texture change is here? 
Now Minecraft DOES have a unified look. It looks "fresh" and "cool" and "good" and "new".

Minecraft is an exception, because they added cross-play with pcs. We never liked Windows or Microsoft, and we thought Apple did, until they agreed on this. Now that Apple accepted the trap, we will not. Microsoft is a company that ruined us. But, we aren't saying any wars. Just deal with your XBOX and we'll have our playstation. Because we hate your Xbox stuff because it's taking over everything."
Yah! right! Forget that! BTW, Microsoft isn't doing anything wrong nor is trying to let Sony get hacked by PC users. They are totally aware of all the issues. In fact, they deal with issues as quickly as possible. And Sony isn't really mad nor mean, they just don't think they are very confident about this PC Mobile and other editions cross-play involving their consoles. They were always closed source in every bit of code. From the beginning of gaming with Sony, to whenever the end is. They will be closed source, and that's just what they do best. Besides, Minecraft Pi edition is the one that died.

1.10.2 issue:
minimap option for ingame waypoints DOESN'T disappear even if "disabled". Is there 2 configs? One that try's to disable it and one that FORCES it to disable? by the way i have Java 6 and 10.7.5 mac os x.

Reply:- My computer actually has Java 8 installed, and I really don't know how to fix the problem, the only solution is something I can't do, and the only alternative is to figure out how to make the "legacy" launcher I have accept the mod without upgrading any hardware or software, (ex: the non-Java launcher or the software of OSX). I do have correct forge and Java, but it just won't accept the "core" mod file in the mods jar file, and no other launchers work on my computer.

Hi-a! I have a major problem. What do you if you can't have the mod because the launcher doesn't accept it and gives and error every time you try to play minecraft, and you can only fix it by getting a new launcher, the "non-java" version, and you also can't get the launcher because the Mac won't accept it, saying it is made for a newer version of OSX, but you also can't update the computer because the hard drive won't let you, and it isn't hacked or been replaced, and your OSX version is 10.7.5? Thanks if you find an answer!

I can't... because the config never gets generated in the config folder for the mod... so, i'm basically unable to config or even play the game with the mod...

Make compatibility for old computers like mine. The launchers aren't working. I have Java 8 now, latest forge for 1.7.10, (which is 10 something 13 something 1614, but can't get the launchers to corporate. The reason I can't get the mod to load?
Custom shaders.
Computer doesn't allow new tech such as custom shaders, can only get shaders from mods type, not between lands. The code is completely incompatible with my comp. :/

Sorry, can't play the mod. Mac's 10.7.5 and lower can't get the new launcher, required to play with the mod.
I have the new java and other java thing. The Non-Java Launcher was required though. Also my computer won't update. So i'm just plain mad.
The day has been ruined.
