I just want to be able to TURN THE DAMN VOLUME OF RAIN down. I can't hear anything else.
And no, inevitable trolls, I don't want to turn game volume down just for this, so don't pipe up with the inane suggestion to turn it down there....I want to hear nearby mobs and such.
Ok, "R" is regular rail heading out.
DB is a dirt block (or whatever block) used to stop incoming cart.
BR is booster rail.
-- is redstone path
: : is also redstone path
SW is another block with a button on the side.
Push the button and the booster rail activates for a few seconds...off you go! We use this all over our world.
heheeh....thanks for the replies. I'm just an idea guy on this one - implementation I'll leave to the programmer.
Why do it? Why not is the answer....
Would it destroy the item? Sure. Or not. Doesn't matter....the idea is to play with the wolves.
Probably clicking first on the "target" wolf then throwing the object with another click is how I would functionally implement it. You throw an egg already....so select an item, "target" the wolf somehow, and then turn and throw the item the way the egg is thrown.
Details are for programmers. I want something to keep my kids busy in-game. And the wolves.
With the pending addition of pistons, we will obviously have some water control mechanisms now.
I would suggest water having some pressure when blocked, so that when released, it launches forward able to push objects in its path. There should be a maximum pressure (based on blocks of water capped, since water travels 8 blocks?) and a varying amount of water blocks launched (maybe again based on blocks of water capped?).
So if you had:
W=W=B.x.x.x.x.x
You would have a column of 5 water blocks shooting out. Pressure would probably have to build over time and dictate how far the water is launched...
