I've already said I'll fix it. Also you've misquoted, Cragvis said that, not me.
Thank you thank you thank you! Yes, I think just giving the player the option to remove the time limit cap, but doing that then removes auto regen would be best, that way the one version could be used for SMP as well as single player, no need to make two versions so people dont cheat in SMP.
I did find a few time manipulation mods, but they didnt work or werent up to date. no matter, its a minor issue for now. Just finding a good hunger mod is hard enough.
30 minutes is a long time. That means it takes a whole hour of playing to die of starvation. If you haven't found a pig in that time... :tongue.gif:
I added the 30 minute cap so that people don't abuse the passive regen, i.e. turn on passive regen and set the hunger time to a million years. I don't want people using my mods to cheat. And I just assumed nobody would want to play with anything longer than 30 minutes.
I'll see about fixing it in the next revision though :wink.gif:
Well I love realism in games, and would love a thirst option, but I know you have to cater one mod to many different peoples playstyles. :/
Just as 1 hour of game time is way too short, id rather have a realistic time set, the early versions I could set it to 400 minutes and that was pretty fun for me. Then you introduced the cap, now I have to run back or look at my food bar thing too often. lol
I dont play multiplayer at all, so there wouldnt even be any cheating, I dont use the passive regain either, Id rather be realistic and heal myself normally.
If there was a way you could make it an option to change the timer on it longer but doing so disables the passive regain that would work.
I just wish there was a mod that slows time down to real time, 1min here = 1 min game time, and then have a hunger mod that takes real times before you are dead, like 2 weeks of no food, and 2 days of no water. lol
I am a masochistic realism gamer, not too many games cater to people like me sadly.
Is there a reason why the game stalls for about 3 seconds when i first open my inventory and first open any wrokbench or forge?
Its very odd, like its trying to load the GUI and it takes a few seconds. Sometimes it crashes my minecraft when I try to open my inventory. And no, I do not have a bad computer at all. lol
I assume you are using the 128x128 pack ?
the same thing happened to me when using it. I downgraded to the 64x64 and haven't had a problem or crash yet. It must be some issue with that pack as I have no mods or anything else installed that could mess with minecraft.
ahh thanks ill downgrade then.
also i use the wildgrass mod and it looks like some flowers and all the vines are just purple blobs. any way to fix that or its just a skin that isnt incorporated in the pack?

Odd, i installed JUST modloader 4 and this mod, and i get a black screen after logging in. no idea why, no other mods installed, fresh JAR file...so werid.
Something I've noticed is that inventory items flicker when passing over them with the mouse cursor. Sometimes armor disappears then reappears. Also opening chests/inventory takes a few seconds when doing it the first time. I've reinstalled multiple times, so I'm not sure what's causing this.
Not a major issues, just kind of annoying is all. Otherwise, great pack. Looking forward to further improvements.
Same happens to me, and 90% of the time when I open up my inventory or any menu system, it crashes Minecraft...I cant use this pack even though its the best one out there. I think a 16x16 one will fix the issue, but no such one made.
Uninstall the pack. The first parts of the instructions talk about that. Download the latest version of both the pack and the patcher. Then re-do it. Minecraft can be finicky sometimes.
Yea, i uninstalled and re-installed the pack and patcher i want to say over 100 times so far. On two different computers too.
It would never solve the crashing issue. Ill try the 64x version though, maybe that might help. Seems any 16x works just fine, but other than that, using some patcher to use a higher bitmap pack makes my miencraft crash.

I see in the INI file it says a max of 30 min, anything larger than that and it seems to stay at 30 :sad.gif: I want a longer time set.

You make daddy proud. I will never update my client again unless I know there is a working version of this for the newest client.
