i was thinking of updating my resource pack to 64x64 but decided not to since it would be a pain in the butt to do, so i just did 16x16 instead.

well if I go through with it I'll make a separate pack as well but also know that not to mix 2 different size images together either. But thanks for the answer.

the glass in your resource pack doesn't have edges (it's border less), so i guess it's already connected?
but you could always try, creating connected glass is hard because u need to make 46 different textures.
so 46 different textures X 17 types of glass = 782 textures in total. (it took me about 3 hours to complete my pack)

It's kind of fake connection if you look close enough it's not connected but 782 textures at 64x64 would take me forever but thank you for replying and answering, i appreciate it a lot. Might break down and do it anyway as it's getting popular...

um, can you elaborate more to your question? thanks. :)

I guess to best elaborate is to link the pack which I really don't want to do. it's hard to explain what I did but pretty awesome it worked out.

    https://mods.curse.com/texture-packs/minecraft/278518-mintcraft

Basically used blockbench(brilliant tool sugested by alvoria) and made custom block models.

I have an idea that would help me out. I've been trying it on my own, and asked around for some help to make it by my own with there command help knowledge, but sigh I'm a newb at this thing

Pm me if you would like to help. Or even if you can do advancements extremely well would be helpful. I need a lot of it when someone loads the map up first anyway.

Its fine I just wanted to thank you btw if you have time you should check out my pirates and treasure thread. But backon topic I think this would help a lot of people because as you said you (and a lot of other people) spend a lot of time organizing inventory and chests

I'm currently trying to get 10 comment karma on reddit so I can port this there. I think I looked at it but I'll go ahead and reply.

The crafting table can be used to make tools, so it seems to be used as an anvil. Chains still aren't made from ropes, and you can already make clocks at the crafting table, and those involve TINY pieces. Finally, the Crafting Table usually tries to make the recipe at least vaguely resemble the output, and doesn't rely on nonsensical items being put in them. Plus, your recipe would only make it even more complicated, as simply shaping some iron in interlocked pieces is a lot esier to understand than making chains by somehow using a rope lead and an axe.
You CAN smelt iron. That is how you get it unless you make an Iron Golem farm: Smelting ore. Plus, tools can also be smelted down into nuggets. (In fact, the original recipe uses them, further making it superior as it gives a nearly pointless item an use).
Finally, your crafting recipe tries to slightly inflate the cost of an item that is more useful in large amounts, makes no sense (Why is there an axe in the recipe?), and doesn't provide new uses to underused items.

Finally, why do you even bring up the (disproven) argument that the crafting table isn't an anvil, so the recipe used in the OP wouldn't be realistic, in order to defend an unrealistic and unintuitive recipe?

Lets agree to disagree and move on. I was only trying to say it just because it doesn't make sense doesn't make it a valid reason to disapprove of something, especially when they are trying to help in anyway they can I offered a different crafting recipe that's more spendy as right now it's relatively cheap and I don't see it needing that cheap. I want it to cost more. That is all. I have my reasons why I would and I bet you have counter arguments for them but I don't want to continue it, so again lets agree to disagree and move on.

That recipe makes no sense, as, apart from the completely random iron axe in the recipe, chains aren't made from ropes.

No but in minecraft it's the only way it could be made unless the crafting table is an anvil and you have an hammer which doesn't make any sense at all.
We don't have a smelter, we can't cook iron in the the furnace except armor to get nuggets. How is steve going to make the chain? He has to do something right? apply slime all over iron ingots? See Realism is a fictional aspect in minecraft and shouldn't really be a necessity now. I know you want it to make sense but right now all the crafting bench really does is throw the items in and forms a new item.

Also your recipe is cheap. It needs work.

Anyway, I would love this but can i make suggestion that the chain allows linking between entities and fence posts and players can walk on top of the chain when linked between two or more entities and like others have said to do linking of minecarts and boats... Also better crafting recipe

I thought joke posts weren't allowed here (fun isn't allowed on this forum), but oh well it's a good metaphor.

Though if this is serious, no support because it would be obnoxious and annoying.

They aren't along with wishlists and other things I see being posted more often here. I'm starting to wonder where the moderators went really. Did they all get 3 months paid vacation to hawaii or something. -;) They do all do hard work and do deserve time off, so though that probably isn't the case but anyway I treat it as a suggestion and went on my business so when they come back I don't get warned for mini-modding.

I agree with all posters on this. I liked it, than really liked it, than camegriff happened and I took an arrow to the knee.

Pun aside, it was a good suggestion than ruined by breeding a camel with a chicken. I think you really just wanted the camegrif here and thought maybe by combining a good suggestion with a bad suggestion would trick us into liking it, clever as you are you should know that wasn't going to work.

Camel Idea: Improve it by removing chest carry and Remove camegriff and I'll support it

Camegrif: No, and quite a horrid image after even reading that part. Now if you made it into a new mob by following the suggestion guide pinned at top here on the third for the how, why, when, what, where, and etc of the topic and made it a lot less creepy, I don't need another creeper scarring my dreams at night, it might by supportive.

For performance reasons, bugs should be rendered as mere tiny particles, not 3D models, and visible only when relatively close enough (same range as for seeing dropped items). They should be so tiny as to be just "generic bugs", not distinctive multi-pixels textures for all kinds of bugs from mosquitoes to bumblebees etc. Personally i have not much interest in adding such bugs. Birds and fishes seem much more interesting.

Fireflies however seem very cool, but they pose another layer of complexity because they'd radiate light.

They probably should work like this:

    - One pure-Air block becomes the "center", and that it the block emitting light.

    - The fireflies, maybe looking like yellow-white XP orbs, would roam about randomly in the 3x3x3 area that is centered on the light emitting central air block. The fireflies particles themselves just look bright, but don't actually radiate light. Sometimes the particles might roam a tiny bit further, but will quickly come back within the 3x3x3 area.

    - More rarely, the "lighted up center" block will move 1 block to another adjacent air block, and never more than 3 blocks away from the ground.

    - They could be slightly attracted to torches, tending to have their center stick right adjacent to a torch.

    - They disappear come morning.

This would allow only a few simple particles to move reasonably without constant and numerous light levels updates.

    Agreed.

posted a message on The Twitcher; a parasitic mob that will cling to you until it dies
    Quote from Mastermined»

The End is pretty bland. I propose we change that by adding some new challenges.

The Twitcher is a humanoid mob about the same size of a player, but much lankier and deformed. When it moves, it Twitches, hence the name. They spawn commonly in those large rooms in End Cities, and more rarely in the Outer End itself, about as rare as a Witch.

The Twitcher moves by crawling over the floor, as it cannot support itself as long as it is not latched onto a Minecraft player.
You read that right. As soon as a Twitcher spots you, it will slowly start stalking the Player, hungrily. After approximately 14 months seconds, it will suddenly pounce on top of the Minecraft player, and attach itself to the Minecraft player. Once attached, there is no way to remove a Twitcher for the Minecraft player. They're stuck with it until they leave the End.

The Twitcher doesn't really cause any damage, but it obscures your vision and slows you down, so it is mostly an unnecessary hassle the Minecraft player will have to deal with until they stop playing.

I reskinned a Zombie in MS Paint to give you an idea of what a Twitcher looks like.

Please leave any comments to add to or improve my idea. Constructive criticism is heavily discouraged encouraged

First I give you that is highly unique but a lot of players would find them annoying. Make them little health, whats the point. Make them harder to kill, than it would be a nuissance.

    Who would this benefit?
    Would this be useful?
    What drops does it have?
Does it deal a lot of damage? You said not any but again this should be improved
Does it give a unique block it only drops, or enchanted sword that is usually hard to get, or etc?

This is essentially an more annoying zombie that causes permanent blindness. Um no, we don't need harder challenges in the end like that. Remove that grabbing on to a player, and keep it twitching is fine. But at least come up with a more unique way to challenge players but not make it impossible to explore the end by forcing them to leave and come back. After they kill the dragon, most players would be on the hunt for an elytra and this would make almost impossible to find. Plus going through portal and back dozens of times doesn't sound like fun to me, sounds tedious and annoying and quite laggy after awhile

If you would like to improve it, I could help you out. I do like the concept but how it ends is a lot of frustration for most minecraft players, right now.

It shoots fire charges it can also get burst because blazes seem to shoot more than one fire at a time sorry if I said bows can get burst to sorry I will check and edit it ;)

Basically you want a bow that looks like blaze rods shoot rapid arrows on fire as fast a blaze can? That is tremendously op and not recommended as almost no one wants rapid fire in game til the combat is fixed better than what it is which is still tremendously hard to do. I would follow this piece advice from the third suggestion topic to help aid you in better suggestions.

    By badprenup

9 - Follow the 5 "W"s. We've saved the best for last here. Every suggestion should be able to explain the Who, What, When, Where, and Why about their idea:
    • Who will the idea benefit the most? Is it the architecturally inclined Builder? The daring Explorer? The brave PvPer? Or is it the Server Admin, who controls and sees all?
    • What is the idea? If you somehow miss this part of your suggestion you probably aren't ready to post your suggestion at all. Take a step back and figure out exactly what you want.
    • When/Where will the idea take place? Is it a new mob that only exists in one biome? Is it an event that happens once ever 15 in-game days? (Hey, two "W"s for the price of one bullet? What a bargain!)
    • Why should this be added? Not only should you be able to explain the benefits of your suggestion, but you should also be able to explain possible risks and drawbacks to your idea. And remember, "Why not?" is never a good reason to add something to the game.

I need to go and advise my topic a bit as well now.
