I've noticed a few changes at spawn. Is that your doing? I can help if I know what is going on. I built something on an unassigned piece of land to be a hotel and sectioned off a living space (magenta wool border) for Slice since his building is amazing and I'd like his work in spawn =)
I noticed there are some new blue zones south of spawn but that area looks like it is in progress. How much of the red area are we converting into new zones?
I cleared out only one building next to spawn, aside from that, I'm not sure what else is going on. I'll check out the new build next time I get on!
I agree with you in regards to the clutter of stuff in spawn. All the stores closest the Citadel are derelict and the ones furthest are mine. I wonder if maybe the way we ought to clean up spawn would be a world edit rather than remove things. We could bring active stuff closer while pushing inactive stuff away. Also, I think we need to expand the residential area to allow for more actual homes to be built there. The commercial zone is far bigger than it needs to be. I'm thinking the hill east of BTs mall could be for homes maybe? And we could expand the homes west as far back as my horse trail.
We do also have an enormous red zone south of citadel that's never been used. We should brainstorm ideas of how to use that space.
As for the cooperative store, maybe we should set up a large portion of it as a sort of free bin, and for 'payments' to go towards the server rather than the player that dropped it off.
Using WE would have to be cleared with aegis, but other than that, we can see how it goes.

For the most part the shops in all of spawn aren't really maintained at all. I think I am one of 2-3 people that have active shops there at all. The rest are all just decorations at the moment. I think what might be nice to do at spawn would be to have a large cooperative resource dump store for basic things like decorative stone, regular stone/cobble, wood and the like. Most of the more valuable blocks have stores.
That could be a good idea. My main concern here is that it seems a tad over-crowded and I feel like that makes people unsure of wanting to build there. Also given that some non-shop builds, like houses, were built in the shop areas and that throws even myself off at times when trying to locate items to buy. If given the blessing, I'd like to try and clean it up a bit to make setting up a shop a bit more appealing to new players.
I've always got an abundance of stuff I can put into the co-operative store, but how will we manage the payments?
I feel like we (or I) should start encouraging more people to build shops. I can't tell you how many times lately I've been in a pinch for resources and wished there was a place I could just buy them, because I'm lazy.
Also, I don't know if we've already started cleaning out the derelict shops at spawn, but it seems a tad bit over-crowded with empty or un-maintained shops. Is this something I should start taking care of?
Thanks for the info. It seems like it was a clean file, but they just promoted it as being for 1.10. I'm new to modding this game, so I didn't know if there was an option for changing something like this. I appreciate the help, and I'll try to be more careful in the future!
I just downloaded the newest version of Forge that says it's compatible with 1.10 so I could use the new version of JourneyMap as well. However, when I load into the main menu it says version 1.9.4.
Is it possible to change which version of Minecraft you are using independently from the Forge version?
The Forge version is labelled for 1.10/1.9.4/1.9 and has 1.9.4 in the file name. So, I'm a bit confused.
Honestly, I've been trying to get Jester to fix them, but he's been too busy with real-life stuff. No one else currently has the ability to add more Skyblocks; and Lazini as well as Copper have both refused to fix the ones that have been Obby'd. So... I really wish I could help. If I could, I would be more than happy to. =/
I'm simply a player, with the ability to whitelist people who apply. Nothing more.
