Do not make commercial use of anything we've made unless specifically authorized by us in our brand and assets usage guidelines (which you should read as each of these policies form part of these Terms of Use)
Purely hypothetical; is it legal to create a server, with modifications and plugins made by scratch and with an unique name and concept and then sell the idea or the server system to a legal company?
I've been reading through the Terms of Use on minecraft.net but I do not understand exactly what it means.
This is only hypothetical. A friend of mine asked me if this was legal, but I doubted it.
I'm looking for a MMO/Adventure server to play on.
I don't actually like building and gathering stuff. I like to explore, do quests and kill mobs.
Are there any servers out there with a good community, a good, custom map, a good storyline and A LOT of quests?

Hey!
I got a server where we are using MultiVerseInv to make seperate inventories for our Suvival and Creative world, however, people can make an enderchest and share items over the worlds. How can I block this? I got ModifyWorld, but its not updated to 1.3.1 yet.
I have a 1GB per second Dedicated Server. The max bandwidth on it is 20TB per month. Is that enough to hold two servers with 90 people on each, 24/7 for a month?

We're also gradually releasing various tools for our clients, including our latest one, FaceBox. With one simple line of code, you can have your server status, with players and their Minecraft faces inline on your website! For more details about that, see http://api.getnodecraft.net/facebox

Hi.
We are hosting a vanilla MC server on a desktop computer for 4 players to play together over the LAN network.
The host machine got an i5 2500k, 8GB RAM (1GB allocated to the server).
When all 4 players log in, the CPU usage of the host machine is peaking at 99%, and the server crashes after 2 minutes of lag.
Here is the crash report:

I guess this restricts it?

What I am thinking about is using Minecraft as a platform for an unique idea or business plan, and then sell the idea and/or the business plan.

Trying to "reinstall" the .exe file and the configs file could also help.

A 1GB per second what?
Anyways, 20TB is more then enough for 2 servers.

It would be 41,95$ or something with a dedicated IP.
