Mojang won't see these comments.
Correct me if I'm wrong and Mojang still checks these forums, but MCForums isn't official anymore and hasn't been for a long time, so...

Posting here won't get Mojang to undo the horse model change; if there are enough people asking for a change on the MinecraftSuggestions subreddit, however...
In my opinion, though, I like the new look; reminds me of the Mo' Creatures horses back in Minecraft Beta, though I like the current models as well. The reigns when putting a saddle on look weird, though, as they go past the horse's neck and don't connect to anything.

Now this may not be the intention, but it's funny how it seems like Twitch is piggybacking off of Minecraft's success.
Literally downloading the Twitch App only so I can easily install a modpack. (Feed The Beast is having problems :I )

Eh, the previous re-texture that was made for the diamond block seems nicer in my opinion, like it could be used for a shiny, checkered floor. I can imagine using it to build a hallway for a castle or something.
This one is sort-of nice as well, though; I guess it's meant more for storage and decor than building, anyway...

Hmm...seeing some of the retextures on Jeb's twitter reminds me of the Eld Pack. Especially the obsidian. They're different, but the textures' style feels similar.
Is Jasper the same person who made that pack? That was one of my favorite texturepacks.
EDIT: Well, the Eld Pack is actually a lot different. Somehow the obsidian made me think of it :S I guess the style is somewhat similar...

Diamond block looks sorta pretty; the lighter + darker halves remind me of the Classic blocks, except not smooth.
However, the wood + crafting table are basically the same except blurry. They look too soft to be made of wood. If the goal is realism, this shouldn't be done on x16 resolution.

Logs look the same but blurred; however, the Birch's detail reminds me of Painterly Pack in a way, so it's kind of nice.
I don't see much difference in the iron blocks? The borders are a little shaded?
The portal seems sharper. It looks nice, but less like a fluid portal.
Obsidian is okay, though the "cracks" may be too deep.
Bricks? Idk.

It only happens when I leave the world, so I'm not sure if it will give much info if it's somehow a mod conflict.

When I use ChickenChunks, I join my world, and...
...on startup, I can open chests and stuff like normal, but then I can't after some moments, and leaving world causes a crash :S
When I remove it, everything is fine.
MC version: 1.7.10 (with recommended mod version)
idk if other mods would conflict with it and cause this, but here's my other mods aside from yours & utility / required mods:
-Aether II
-ProjectE
-Thaumcraft
-Baubles
-Tinker's Construct
-CraftGuide
-Biomes O' Plenty
-Morph
-Dimensional Doors
-VoxelMap
-BuildCraft
-OpenBlocks
-Too Many Items
-Extra Utilities
-Waila

I remember seeing the moon below me at day time in a void area.

Reminds me of Minecraft Beta's updates.
I like this. (Not that I liked beta better; I like all updates, but this being a small update and the release speed, it gives me nostalgia of how beta updates seemed like for me.)

Gone? They're not gone, unless you meant the default design.

Notch sold Mojang to Microsoft; the Mojang devs are still the ones working on the game.
I don't really see why people complain about the attack cooldown; it can be easily changed as it is NBT data. Duel Wielding shouldn't affect too much, as you could quickly switch between items in your hotbar anyway, and you can't deal double damage with swords or anything because of Minecraft's invincibility frames / damage cooldown. You can't use weapons in your offhand, so duel-wielding swords is useless, anyway. You can't even use a bow in your offhand. "Duel-Wielding" seems more like a feature added for building / mining purposes, and shields. (Of course, you could wield a sword while throwing potions...)
2
Heh.
Type /summon EnderCrystal ~ ~ ~ {BeamTarget:{X:#,Y:#,Z:#}} in-game. (Replace "#" with numbers, of course.)
This update may be very nice for mapmakers~

-Burn in lava.
-Fall into the void.
You can't get your items back.

The only thing secret would be the structure block =/
1
You can only place them with /setblock. They can't be used. Like portal blocks, you can't use the /give command to give yourself the blocks. I guess Mojang just left them in the snapshot as an easter egg or something, but they're only used by members of Mojang. All they do for players at the moment is give off light.
To place the blocks with /setblock:
/setblock ~ ~1 ~ structure_block [insert 0, 1, 2, or 3]
That at least gives you S, C, L, and D; I don't know if you can get the block without a letter...
1
I think Mojang uses that block to easily make & add structures. (Like the new End City Dungeons.)
1
You can do that by changing the crosshair that's in the icons.png texture file. (I think that's the correct one. If not, then change the crosshair that's in widgets.png) You just need to remove some pixels, and there, shortened.
0
You don't need to type the "minecraft:" prefix. You can simply type the name of the block / item.
Also, you wouldn't type "block_of_[material]", you would type "[material]_block". I just tried it to make sure, and yep~
I find this easier, though. I did remember some item IDs before, and got the command block ID set in my memory, but now I can just type the block name without needing the number.
(I've played since Beta 1.5, so, about 4 years, but I still find it nicer and easier.)
