    As an idea for the portable hole, maybe make a researchable (like the nine hells upgrade) fifth level upgrade that makes the portable hole instead summon a little pocket dimension, the pocket can be closed from the inside by right clicking the portal with your wand or something but you can only be inside the pocket for a limited amount of time to stop someone from just jumping in a pocket and staying there until the other player logs off in pvp situations and pushes the players to use it more as temporary portable storage and crafting machines while still not replacing your base entirley, the entended timer will of course increase the amount of time the pocket will stay open and the enlargen focus increases the size of the pocket itself, sorry if this has been suggested to you multiple times or something, I just found a lack of portable hole custom upgrades a bit dissapointing although I understand because it's kinda difficult to come up with ideas for it

    When I place a computer on the ship controller I put in the name but then the part afterwards permanately gets stuck on "ship controller detected" and it doesn't move past that no matter how long I wait, what am I doing wrong?

    Well that technically could be done with redstone and commands.


    Like say you're leaving pork to cook, set up a redstone comprieter to accept a signal that will change when the cooking is done. Then have it so when changed a command block gives you an item, like a blow fish. You could also just set up the mechanism with a hopper so that the food-items are automatically drained and put into a chest as well. With the ender-storage mod, you can even pump items into an enderchest and have that chest linked to your bag so only you can access them, but can access them from anywhere.


    The problem with the first suggestion is it's not survival friendly and requires an empty slot on your hot bar at all times, something people generally would not have in creative mode let alone survival


    the problem with the second thing is you have no idea if an item was dropped off in the bag and you could really use an ended bag for much more things than just notifications which don't really notify you of anything "on the go", when someone is at my base I wanna know now so I can warp back there and play host, plus neither of these things really notify you of things audially which is one feature I am wishing to gain

    basically I have a lot of things set up but I wish to know when they are done/someone is messing with something of my ect. but I can't find any way to keep me notified on the go, what I am asking for is a simple block that when powered with redstone will make an item bound to it light up in your inventory, possibly make a little sound


    of course this is optional and only if you can do it but maybe make it possible to also combine those items into one item that either lights up singularly and you have to check a little gui to see which or has individual lights on it's icon that light up depending on the one that you can once again set in a little gui gotten by maybe right clicking it


    thanks for reading my idea and sorry for the terrible formatting I will clean this all up later once I'm fully awake

    Right now, I'm using a Void Aspected Amber Staff from one of my add-ons, and it works pretty well as a standard staff. Of course, since it only holds 25 of each primal, it's impractical for creating constructs or jarring nodes. The extra level of potency from the primal staff would also be nice.


    Sure, I could make a Thaumium-Bossed Staff of the Primal, but that's boring.


    I think witching gadgets have improved robes that give more of a discount

    I'm aware of how the particles work, but the range at which I can see the aspect pop up on the runic matrix is like 2-3 blocks. Which would require me trampling all over a bunch of infusion stabilizing blocks. It's just a little clunky, and I'd prefer to not have to do it.


    And even so, I still think as a matter of principle that they should require line of sight. I know, "it's magic I ain't gotta explain ****", but it's weird to be miraculously pulling essentia through walls. Especially when its established to be extremely volatile and should not come in contact with non-warded matter.


    If you don't want to trample over the stabilisers just make a levitator floor, you can then manage your altar without your pedstles or infusion stabilisers getting in the way


    Or just hide them under the floor and sink the pedstle into the ground but levitator floor is so much cooler and magically

    Check the configuration file. There's "I:golem_delay=". The number after should be 20 or less, some modpack out there set it to 60, and that can cause problems.


    Try to change the type of golem used


    If you have railcraft/other mod that adds invisible blocks, make sure that there's nothing of the sort in the places where saplings are going to be placed.


    If you are not using vanilla chests, try to change the container to a chest.


    Try to change the distance of the sign for planting from the golem.


    Check if the color of the simbol you are placing with the golemancer's bell is the right one.


    If anything else fails, try creating an instance with only thaumcraft and see if the problem is still there. If it might be an issue between mods you are using.


    I don't use a modpack and I checked anyway the decay rate is five


    I switched to a straw golem and it didn't work either


    it is in range as the golem walks right over to the point


    I placed blocks in those places and removed them so I should not have any invisible blocks nor do I know of any of my mods having invisible blocks


    the golem is getting the saplings out fine and it didn't work with a vanilla chest either


    I am not using an order golem and thus having coloured icons are literally impossible anyway


    will test for thaumcraft only in a moment


    also the picture shows up perfectly for me I'm not sure what you're talking about

    hey I have searched the forums for an answer and have seen this answered before but none of them seem to work but basically my use golem refuses to place sapling even if I make it place on an empty space, placing a block and marking it then breaking it again, pretty much every combination I can think of, anybody got any ideas of if not a way to fix this another way to plant things using a different magical mod that doesn't take some sort of power source?

    is there any way to link things to an inventarium in another dimension? I use dimensional doors and as of such my rooms are... well... cross dimensional and I'd love to be able to get items from anywhere in my house
