    You are correct! There was a way to run a command from a different user if you are server admin.
    The word you are looking for is . . . sudo!

    sudo <player name> <action>

    Recently I had to get a plugin to make it work for my server. Here is the link:

    Yeh, I saw that it was impossible to find the code when I Googled for it. It's just a linux command; that's why it's not listed under minecraft forums. Now it is!!!
