@Benthos:Ok, I figured out that it wasn't Modloader that was causing it to crash. I had an old file from 1.0.0 sitting in my mods folder trying to load.
I'm getting the same thing, the only thing I have tried to install is modloader. Loads up and goes to mojang screen and then to the black screen. I would load an error report but it's not even saving it as a txt file.
I noticed that the same problem I ran into on the Twilight Forest expansion I am running into on the Aether expansion. When the game is saved in the Aether and I try to reload it, it crashes. Here is the error report if it will help any.

EDIT:My bad, I love the parts of the Aether I did see by the way, alas I believe I will hold off on downloading it until a more stable release comes out.
This is a great mod, I did discover that the game crashes when you save your game while in the twilight forest. Luckily I was able to MCEdit myself back to the original map. I'm not sure if this was already reported or not so sorry if it was.
Just wondering, is this compatible with Millenaire mod? I installed everything like I was supposed to and as soon as I tried to load my world it went to saving chunks. If it helps I have Millenaire Mod and Dynamic lights installed.I would post the crash report but I can't find the friggin thing.
