I found BOD because I could never find diamonds in my standard Minecraft worlds. I would branch mine or explore caves for ages and only find a few. I like the architecture angle of MC, so I found this mod, hoping I would be able to find stuff easier so I could spend more time on building. However, when I used the xray mod to find veins, three worlds in succession had big diamond veins within Far render distance of the spawn - but no iron. (That was probably dumb luck, though.)
I must confess that I thought your mod was going to do something different. I thought it was just going to make the naturally spawning pockets of ores bigger, so caves would expose them more often. But this is a bit wonky, even if it is realistic.
How could I make a config file that does what I expected it to do? I'm not asking you to make it for me - that would be rude. But I'd just like some tips as to what you'd do, so it'll be easier.
Can you grow the big trees after the world is generated?
Because to experiment, I tried to grow a big tree, put a spruce sapling and some spruce wood (not planks) in the seemingly-required pattern. Then I used bonemeal on the sapling. The sapling and the wood just DISAPPEARED. Replaced by air. No tree.
Is this a bug? Because when I grow normal trees, things like the increased height of normal trees work perfectly.
THIS IS SOMETHING I DID NOT REALIZE FOR QUITE A WHILE:
IN MANUAL INSTALLATION, YOU ALSO HAVE TO COPY THE TWO JAVA CLASS FILES TO minecraft.jar.
He should update it to say that; I've been taking his manual-install instructions verbatim over the past two weeks; I only replaced the com directory at first.

I'm using the Linux version; when I run it, it says "Couldn't find minecraft.jar; please locate it."
Which jar file does it want?
EDIT:
. I guess you were right when you told me to read the last few pages. Sorry about this.

Oh, and the efficient TNT mod is great!
