Maybe you could ask for a modder to make it for you and give them a percent of the income via adfly or whatever form you use. and of course get the modder to stick with it and upgrade as upgrades are required

sweet. when 1.3 comes out, make a hardcore adventure map with a village and mob spawners and see how long the player lasts. make it a decent size with tons of swords and bows and arrows and food so the player has a chance

i am making a slime farm right under my base. unfortunately its only 1 chunk, but like right under my house, so nice. i only have 1 level made so far, and i have a water elevator bringing them up to the surface, i only have a bit of the 1st level's leaving water done, but it is enough. I will be finishing that water, and making more levels. I dont see why slimes are any different(in the means of chances increasing per spawning spot)
Agreed, cave generation is rediculous now and definitly needs reduced a bit.
I think if they moved sea level to 96 instead of 64 and didn't increase the amount of caves generating it would help a bit.
If you increase sea level, what happens when ur in an old world and you head to the newly generated sections, a 32 block high annoying as F*** waterfall, or even, ur at sea level then a big mountain decides to spawn. No. just decrease the frequency of cave a bit, not too much.
i make a little hut, go caving, if i find a dungeon, i block it off and take the safe approach, i put torches on the spawner, kill off the mobs, then look in the chests. Later i usually make it an xp farm(since 1.0)
