i have an intel g31/33 graphics card
does anybody know where i can do this:

im also not sure what the german menu of my pc will say.
any ideas?
oh and does anybody know why nothing changes when i klick on the advanced openGL button? it always stays on OFF

And it most likely stays off because your graphics card doesn't support it.
It just takes ages to generate the terrain. I had the console from MultiMC open while generating and went AFK, then about 30 minutes later it had finished. Generation after that doesn't cause any problems.
really because i remember that in the early beta stage when they introduced spiders climbing things they made it so sandstone isn't climbable. let me add that to the post
It was a bug that spiders couldn't climb up sandstone, it was fixed long ago I think.
If you drop a map and someone else picks it up, they will be able to see your progress. You will also be able to (somehow) CLONE maps so that two separate map items link to the same map data. That means you can see what other players carrying the same map explores, and both you and them will show up as blinking dots or similar on the maps. - The Word of Notch
However, shift-clicking to craft was disabled in the same update and not restored until Beta 1.8 so I bet there are a lot of players that don't know this.
You're saying this like it's all facts. I don't like the new gravel texture either, but that's my opinion, it's not a fact that the new one is ugly. And 12 emeralds for a diamond sword sounds like a pretty good deal to me, that's just a couple of stacks of wheat or paper for the best sword in the game.
The problem is that most, if not all, transmutation bugs in MC only change the metadata/damage value, not the data value of blocks and still and flowing lava has different data values.

Just install OF after modloader and it should be fine.
