On SSP: On a hole I mined on the side of a rock pillar with like two torches protecting me. I was scared for monsters because I was pretty much out in the open with no protection.
On SMP: On a lily pad in the middle of the ocean, because I entered the server at night, and I was being chased by a lot of mobs, so I figured they can't spawn in water and stayed there.
So tell below where did you spent your first night...

Yes, it's a glitch, and if you don't agree with the philosophy of using glitches, then don't abuse it. This is for anyone who wants to use the glitch. Ok, so I was mining, and I found ABSOLUTELY NO natural caverns. I was mining on easy, and because of no caverns, no zombies or creepers! I found, like, two stacks of 64 iron. and a Ton of coal. I found a bit of lapis. (this was my diamond/lapis/lava moment)I also found 4 redstone.
I had two sets of diamond armor, two compasses, (one, in which, will soon be a map) 3 iron picks, then I had 10 left over. I'm saving that 10 :biggrin.gif: . I know this topic was pointless, This was so amazing to me at the time. I just started playing yesterday. Did anyone else have moments like this?

You should spawn in a biome with loads of pine trees. Just keep going right.

If you only had one repeater, you wouldn't be able to get through either way. That wouldn't make it one-way, would it?

It's pretty simple.
You just need 2 repeaters and 11 dirt.
No portals needed for soul sand!
