I have the EXACT setup on a server (1.14.4), it works PERFECT. But on my Single Player (SP) comparitors will not obtain a redstone signal and "do nothing"...
Other than lag issues, what is the difference? Is there some setting that can be changed on SP compared to servers? Is the normal set "tick rate" of 3 a good setting for SP??? Can tick rate change anything from SP to server????
It's so annoying to think you have something good on SP but it does not work LOL...
I might have to figure out some friggen complicated thang instead of this setup
Finally got it. The eyes had to be arranged in a really exact way. never had to do that in 1.8 or earlier. What's the point of that?? annoying.
I tried all the suggestions and nothing is working. I can get the portal to form, once in it, I hear the new sound but no teleporting to the end... Very strange...!!!! Cannot figure out what Im doing wrong to get it work
So, let me get this straight - you're playing a cracked version of a game (implying you've not paid for it), yet you're moaning that "minecraft is always broken"? I think you need to get your priorities sorted out! If you're not playing the game legally, then don't expect much support from the developers!
I agree 100% You have money to do this and that but not for a legit copy of MC? go figure lol... And then think you have the right to ***** about a problem? LOL even harder...!
I updated my server just 3 days ago from spigot 1.7.10 to 1.8 spigot. Also updated dynmap to 2.1. Been having problems with rendering in grey scale like colors instead of normal MC colors. Cannot find a fix and have tried many things. Even tried a test server with identical results. Please see image.
When I updated my server to 1.8, and dynmap, I noticed black n white or grey scale "FILLS" instead of normal MC map colors. I deleted the entire dynmap folder and started from the beginning with the older version for 1.7.10. Still experiencing same problem. Deleted entire folder again with 1.8 version of dynmap. I cannot seem to find a fix no matter what I do.
Any help or ideas out there? Anyone with similar problems? Please let me know for this is becoming very frustrating.
Also just tried this on my test server with identical results...
1.7.2 -.4 Bukkit Server Recently upgraded the server with a new spawn world, skyblock world and creative world (plotme). Now with another Survival world on Hard mode w/pvp enabled
SURVIVAL only with NO PvP set on the easy world. This is the main world that started Bubba's Survival. Do you want to play SURVIVAL only? Do you miss the way MineCraft was meant to be played? Look no further... We are an American based server in Utah. little LAG with up to 60 slots, A claiming system in place to protect your precious builds from unwanted griefers. We are setup with MCBans, Prism, GroupManager, Essentials, WorldGuard, WorldEdit and GriefProtection. Ranks are: Owner, Admin, Mod (staff only ranks) and Default player. You can set many homes by naming them, TP to friends and back home again. Back on death is enabled. Helpful and friendly staff. World spawns are normally in the center of the world with MANY resources. Build a house, build a town or build a city... Go out there and SURVIVE with friends or go at it alone. come join the fun with us with LOADS of resources.
No not just "player", I kept his name out of it. I added <player> instead of his name... of course there are other things between each time this came up. I just copied n pasted a few of those lines to ask question about it...

White listing a server in this manor might be good idea for me in the future... Sometimes I get angry teens/pre teens who just love to take their frustrations out on my server lol
