Well I am terribly disappointed. I was expecting music that fit in,but was still from Mass Effect. The music has random points of drama, only one piano track fits in. I was expecting Music Disks to have different tracks from Mass Effect, This is not the case. I was expecting the map to be something similar to an adventure map, again not the case, all they did was refit a desert biome (set a snow golem, they die in desert biomes) to make it more like Mars and add buildings, Some which don't even have an inside. I was expecting the textures to make sense outside of the themed world, Agaaaain not the case, if you enter the world with the default textures you will notice the buildings are made of ore blocks, sandstone, obsidian and blocks of gold diamond and such, you can't tell what block is which. Very lazy jobs and a sure will not buy for me.
Good to hear, Don't have anything to be excited since I don't own Sony consoles, I plan to buy Xbox One and I own Minecraft on PC/Android/360. Good to hear that the low percentage that hasn't played Minecraft in anyway because they only owned PS3 get toplay the game. Personally I think the vanilla Minecraft will get old tho good to see that Mojang is prospering while it lasts.
If the host wants you in there enough, I figure he/she can take the five seconds to add you to his/her friend's list. While I do think there should be an ability to host open games, it's still not impossible. There's just one extra step thrown in.
There is also the chance of a filled list or a list locked by Family settings. Just in case, by open I mean anyone joining when they want like it was at frist but not a matchmaking service to join random games.
So after the last update, The 1.7.3 PC equivalent update to the xbox edition, I guess to fix random joining, they forced it so unless you are on the friendlist of someone in the game, you can't join the game, To be exact, It attempts to join then kicks you out of the game. In my eyes, not leaving this to choice is a terrible choice, having to add someone everytime, Not even letting people you invite to game. Just in case, I'm not talking about the "Allow friends of friends" option, Im talking about every game being friend only, no matter what.
Does anyone think this should be an option rather than a forced trait? I think with Invite only and Allow friends of friends, It wasn't even needed.
I can't count the times I've tried to join someone from a friends party or been invited just to be rejected by the friend only game thing. If I'm invited, I'm most likely wanted there.
Also it would be useful if like on the Halo games, When the game is set to friend only, It allowed invites AND didnt even show the game was joinable if you can't join it in the first place. As it is now on minecraft, You can hit Join session in progress just to get that you arent allowed because you are not a friend. It shouldnt show that its joinable in progress after all.
Hope that makes sense because I really have no idea how to explain what I mean.

I think games should be open to everyone and friends only should be an option just as only friends of host and invite only.
You don't even have to uninstall, Just go to System settings, Storage, while highlighting your harddrive you should be able to press a button to Clear Cache. Do not press Format tho. Clearing Cache removes any update. If the problem started after updating, That should fix it.
Fortress Craft is the buggiest one and its only 8 players. No offline as you can't play XBL indie games offline. You build and then its just a vote whoring race to get your world up ranks. Closest Minecraft clone, Just with the little blocks mod.
CastleMiner Z is the most fun of all the clones in my eyes, Tons of modes, 7 I believe, each bringing very different things and overall tons of play time.
The Xbox Texture pack is the same as Alpha, Which has a few texture packs. Also There is usually a no pics, No clicks attitude here to avoid viruses and others.
I prefer making my house close to population or living on the village itself.
Back on 1.0 I always used to find villages with annoying landscapes, Dirt or gravel covered doors or holes and traps villagers could get stuck on or on deserts, ugly, boring, deserts. That was until the no longer working gimmeabreak seed where we spawned on a village set in the Plains biome. Point is...
Any seed that spawns a perfectly build village anywhere close? Hopefully on a flat space with most of its buildings.
