This would probably be better off in the Texturing sections.
Sadly, there's not a whole lot of people with really, really good talent who aren't busy. I suggest offering payment of some sort, as kind of an incentive.
I'll contact a few people, if you don't hear from me in a few days, then I got nothing.
I'll leave the post here for a few days, and see what I get. I'll move it to Texturing if I can't find anyone here.
I'm not looking for unbelievable talent, although it certainly would be nice. Sadly, I have no money to pay to pay an artist, other than a percentage of ad revenue from downloads, which wouldn't be any significant amount of money for the next few months.
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it, even if you don't find anyone to help me.
I recently started on a new mod, which is based around creating alloys to build machines. Sadly, my textures skills are awful. I need someone who is willing to stay on the project for the long term, as I will be constantly developing new things that need to look pretty. I intend for my mod to be graphically well-made, so please only respond if you are a good texture artist, and preferably with experience in Minecraft textures. Also, link some of your previous work in your response. If you're interested in my previous work, here. I did all of the coding for that mod, but almost none of the textures. If you are interested in payment for your work, I can offer a percentage of ad revenue from the mod downloads. Of course this would mean that there wouldn't be any sort of income for the next couple of months, and no guarantee of any amount. Please ask any questions that you may have, and thanks for your interest.
I've run into major little buggers when trying to mod, yes, but currently I have no project to work on, and would like to see how difficult it would actually be to make this work
If you just want to see how difficult it would be, then there's no need for me to do it. You can find that out on your own.
Hello, it's been a while, but I would like to ask you if I may try to update the mod?
As a modder yourself, I'm sure you're aware of the major changes in Minecraft in 1.3. Now that Client and Server are merged, I would have to rewrite most of the mod, which is much more work than I am willing to put into this mod. I was never too fond of it, so I'd rather let it die and release a much better and more successful mod in the future.
Found an interesting bug on accident. Not sure if this bug occurs with any/all other bow/arrow combinations, but when firing a fully drawn back Magic bow shooting a Dragon arrow directly into the sky, after the arrow comes down and hits the ground, it turns into a normal mc arrow. Don't ask how I found this, I was quite bored ^.^
And a question. I have all the required runes to cast Fire Wave, I believe it is, but I cannot cast it. I choose the spell in my spellbook, and right click with an empty hand, with a fire staff, but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong??
I think you found a bug that you didn't see. The magic bow isn't supposed to be able to use dragon arrows. As for it turning into a vanilla arrow, does it just look like a vanilla arrow, or do you pick up a vanilla arrow when you go near it?
In order to cast a spell, you have to press the Cast Spell key, which is 'X' by default. That should solve that problem.
I think I fixed a bunch of the bugs with bows and arrows, but haven't released the fix yet. I've pretty much stopped working on RC since I started working on a new tech mod, so sadly there will be unfixed bugs and unfinished features, and it won't be updated to 1.3 at any point. On the bright side, the mod is coming very well, and hopefully will be much better than this. If you have any more issues, let me know and hopefully I can still fix them.
Because I think the minecraft trees was changed to runescape ones and etc.
They weren't. This mod edits no base classes. No base textures were changed either, vanilla Minecraft remains unchanged, I've only added on to it. If you look in your world, you will most definitely still see vanilla trees, blocks, items, etc.
That mod add more items or change some old items for new ones?
I'm sorry, but I still can't understand. I'm not trying to insult you, I'm sure that English is not your first language, which is fine. I really would like to answer your question, but I can't if I don't know what you're asking. Can you please try to rephrase the question so that I can better understand? I did understand that you want me to update to 1.3.1. I'm not sure if this will ever happen. Because of changes made in Minecraft to help with the upcoming mod API, I would have to port the mod to SMP. This would take a long time to do, and a lot of work. I didn't like the way the mod was going, because I was restricted by the RuneScape theme. Because of this I decided to start work on a new mod. I am not going to say any more about this new mod, other than that it will be much better than RuneCraft. I will most likely not update RuneCraft much more, only to do minor bug fixes. I'm sorry if you wanted to play it on 1.3.1.
That mod add more items or change some old items for new ones? Because if change items, them mod http://www.minecraft...-ores-mod-v131/ are better. Update to 1.3.1 minecraft version.
Awesome, this mod fits Runescape almost perfectly, but for some reason i crash when i try to use one of the new bows? Shame, but the rest seems to work fine.
Also, add whips
(Should work like bows except take shorter time to charge, and does not fire a projectile)
Have you reinstalled the mod recently? A few days after I released v0.5.1, I released a hotfix that I think fixed that crash. Try reinstalling it and trying again. If it still crashes, post the error message.
ok i just didn't know what button to cast it was i guess lol... but i have a real bug report... but not alot of info, i try to fire the Dark Bow and it crashes my minecraft. Do you know about that?
I think I fixed that in the latest hotfix. Redownload and reinstall the mod, like I said, I didn't update the download name but it is a newer version.

This should be the version that I compiled the most recent update in. http://jenkins.minecraftforge.net:7070/job/forge/152/
This is the version that you should be updating to. http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,1200.0.html
Good luck. If you do figure it out, I would most likely support the port, and would appreciate it greatly.

It's not going to be updated. I've started working on a new mod. Sorry.

I couldn't understand what you were saying, hence the "Huh?", which implies confusion.

Huh?
