Since one of the challenges is "trade with NPC's" I think it is safe to assume it is a 1.3 map.
Is it tiling properly or is it all those blue lines in it.
plus there are a few more water textures I could use

3rd row from the bottom and 5th from the right, you forgot a grey pixel in the dirt and grass textures. Also, rethink the side-outlines of the swords, also consider making the broken parts of the wooden sword a dark-brown, and the glass needs shading on the sides.

I assumed you took my advice and here you are again, I agree with balduran that you should fully clean the glass and the glass border needs to be shaded,
I hope you make some major edits or make something completely original. Plus I like the new swords (apart from wood, it's that random flat edge)

Also, you include ALMOST ALL of the texture files in the texture pack. You do not need to do this!
All you really need for this texture pack is \gui\items.png! Maybe a pack.txt and a pack.png as well.
But you don't need to include files you have not edited. If they aren't there, Minecraft loads them from the .JAR automatically.
If you include it, it can become outdated.
well obviously to describe what the person thinks everyone has a right to criticise, if you cant take criticism take the pack down and save yourself from it. oh and personally I don't like it the swords are quite ugly and look like they were done on MS paint, the gold sword looks awful your banner doesn't look appealing either

I wholeheartedly that stacking the food is a bad idea and will ruin the combat that he says hes trying to fix.
obviously i cant imagine this has been added without the mojang team seeing how bad it will affect fighting.
As i said before, im hoping that food doesn't heal hearts anymore but instead there is a new 'healing item'. What do you think or hope is being done to keep it balanced?
