    What...did I just play...and why is it split into four maps...and why did I need to use 7-Zip to even access them?!


    Okay, so...basic premise, I went nums, okay. I get to nums and have to go to another map.A /tp would've sufficed. Now everything is freaking out...I guess. Then...I was stuck in a hole. Game over? Beats me. Next map. Zombie. Okay, nope, not punching to death. /give diamond_axe it is. Then...generic superflat...I did it...?!


    1/10. Absolutely everything needs improved in some way or another.

    I used to be a big time player of the 360, but I saw the player base die off over the years (from having a queue if people wanting to play my and others' maps to getting maybe one person in a week), and as such, I've died off, too. I assume that there is some base in the mini games, but I'll be darned if I'm spending $10 to get Gold and find out.

    posted a message on [Collection] Mithey's Maps ~ Chunk Restore 0.2 Alpha is now out!

    Well, there goes my life.


    I decided to start your big shebang of maps with the 404 map because I needed a good survival after trudging through the Sea of Cinders, and dang, am I a sucker for nostalgia.

    So far this map is exactly what I want, which is a survival, but with little things sprinkled into the cave system. I decided to start the map with 200 mobs instead of 140. It was obnoxious, which is exactly what I asked for. I came across the loot room at the end of the rails pretty quickly and basically used redstone torches to keep the caves at least somewhat lit and my weeds grew by lava light. Eventually I found the Nether room and didn't even jump into the portal; I went back and started lighting up the area properly. And that's about it so far. I've got a path to the portal in the works and am still being assaulted by the hoards, but so far, so good.


    (Also, you can starve and sprint in the Nether, but not heal. I don't know if that's intended or not. If not, you may want to throw some command blocks in there, too if you ever decide to update the map again.)

    posted a message on Moldy's CTM Series - Sea of Cinders now released!

    I just finished Sea of Cinders.


    The map itself is fine in terms of loot and power scaling (though I did run out of arrows at one point. I could've avoided the problem by utilizing the chickens, but that's way too much grinding. My biggest complaint is that it's very grey. Very, very grey. The caves are grey except one, the land is grey, the mountains are grey, the towers are grey, the last area is...not as grey. Oh, and that place...I really had no idea what to do to get through the Grey wool hole of doom. I wound up pearling to the bottom and just sitting there as ghasts went nuts everywhere. Peaceful got me out because that was about it for me.

    The rest got no real complaints. Some of the traps were cheeky, but I'm pretty much aware of everything from falling gravel to carpets bursting to bed bombs. I thank the Dimensional Doors mod for seasoning me there.


    Overall, I'd give it a 6/10. It was a fun challenge, but was really bland visually.

    posted a message on New Render Distance Number should BE!!

    What's even the point? I've never found a use beyond 20 with Optifine, and even that was just so I could see where the normal 16 max ends and then go a little further away when making an "ocean" in my adventure map.

    That's just obnoxious. As if people didn't care about fishing before aside pure automation, this will make them never touch a fishing rod in those servers.

    I downloaded an audio pack that replaces all sounds with a guy's voice. Repeating command blocks summoning villages to their death, having them scream "MASHED POTATOES!" upon impact was probably the stupidest thing I've done.

    This completely broke a whole bunch of things and made me even more secure in my decision to transfer my worlds to the PC. Whether it's a bug or not, I don't know. There used to be a single layer of invisible blocks previously; I don't know why it grew to every layer. I consider this a bug since you can get up there in survival and then become completely trapped.

    Command blocks were added to the game, but were only accessible through third-party tools; then they removed the texture for them, making them essentially an X-ray block; then they corrupted them, which completely crashed any world with one; I haven't checked to see what the most recent version does with them. They never worked during any of this.


    Let the trend of what has happened to them be my answer,

    I'm so glad my few maps were made on the 360 and used no commands, and have only some simple teleports and titles. But maaaaaaan are the ones like that Pokemon Red and other massive maps gonna be a wreck.
    There's going to be a line drawn with old and new adventure maps with this update.
